The Best Portable HF Antenna on the Market in 2025
This is a tiny, portable, ground mounted multi-band (6m-40m) HF antenna. It sets up in literally 2 minutes, and if you search online there's even a handy guide on how to set the antenna up for each of the bands. It's pretty rugged, I've taken this to a few park activations, and it's seen it's fare share of rain and held up in some fairly windy days. For the Bands 10M-17 you just need the whip. For the bands 20,30, and 40, you'll need to use the included inductor. When set correctly on the bands, you'll get between 1:1.1 and 1:1.4 SWR. SWR on the other bands isn't too bad, but you'll want to see to determine weather or not to use a tuner (instead of getting up and changing the inductor on the antenna). This ground mounted antenna gives you very low angle of transmission and I've been getting some great DX ranges with my G90 set on 5W QRP mode.In terms of performance, it beats out the JPC-7 in terms of gain and range (unless you've got a 30ft or higher mast to run the JPC-7 up). In terms of price and quality, while the My Go2 Antenna does have better performance characteristics across multiple bands, for the cost I can get up and manually adjust this antenna for about the same overall performance.I'd consider 2 upgrades to help improve the antenna - getting a 17' whip antenna (so you won't need the coil for 20m or lower), and getting a second inductive coil so you can hit the 80m bands.Overall this is an awesome antenna, portable, and setting it up, or taking it down is a matter of minutes (plus it's extremely light and great to carry out to an activation). Plus, unlike dipoles or efhw, this thing is compact and can be set up almost anywhere (just remember to spread out the ground radials).

Good Performance for a Portable Antenna
I set up this antenna in my back yard with the ground mesh setup into three strands at about 120 degrees apart. I set the coil for 20m (gold mark) and the rod was fully extended. The SWR was around 1.2 using a NanoVNA. The radio was doing a good job picking up stations for being a portable antenna. I moved the coil to 40m (silver mark) the the SWR was very good. I was picking up good there too. Did not have time to make contacts but I am going to use this antenna for Parks on the Air. I like how easy and quick it is to setup and it a good value so far.

Great potential, just need a larger carry bag
Receive seems fairly good, so perhaps it's my radio keeping me from making contacts. Product description included various band settings for the telescopic antenna... excellent. I tuned up just fine on 10, 12, 15, 17, and 20M to 1:1 no problem. Excellent construction, very portable, but if it were me marketing a top quality antenna I'd add another 1-2" to the bag length, and another 3-4" to the width to make room for what's needed beyond what's included: A second ground rod 18", a small hammer, the circular ground plate, 2-3 more ground straps, and room for 25 or 50 feet of RG-8 coax. THEN you would have everything needed to deploy the antenna. Those extra items can be add ons for purchase.

Great POTA antenna.
Great portable antenna, especially when there isn't something to support a long wire. I've had this for a few months and wound up using this as my Field Day antenna (you can see it off to the right, behind my shelter in the photo below) and I got good results. It's quick and easy to set up, and very portable with it's nicely organized case. I've used this for POTA activations, and POTA hunting with great results.

Perfect for POTA on a budget
I can't believe the quality and value that have gone into this product. Performance has been superb on 20 and 40 meters and is easy to tune. I checked mine with a Nano VNA and it was flat across the bands. Being a Jeeper there isn't a lot of room for equipment. Living in the Midwest there aren't a lot of trees to hang a wire in. (corn is just not tall enough). This fits the bill perfectly.

Excellent Product
Well manufactured, cleanly machined, good fit and form. Very nice compartmentalized carrying pouch with room for a few extra things. Manual could've used some extra pictures showing a bit more close-up detail, but Amazon imagery & video made up for that. Assembled and had it set up in the back yard in ten minutes (replaced another antenna). Overall decent product for the price. Only had chance to use for receiving and a little QRP CW work (excellent, despite terrible geomagnetic storms of late), haven't tried transmitting at power yet, been raining all week!--HOWEVER ...--Understand this is a PORTABLE antenna, not something intended for permanent outside installation. Experience tells me the exposed metal parts may be prone to rust without proper care (e.g., frequent applications of WD-40, deoxidizer or contact cleaner. A fully-extended telescopic section could get bent should a strong wind come up. If you're gonna leave this outside for a while, at least retract that section when not in use.--Thinking of ways to ruggedize for permanent install, maybe mount a few feet off the ground on a short mast, perhaps add some metal guy-wires for stability, also serves as sturdier ground plane.
