I wasnt sure whast the quality was going to be like as it was so inexpensive when compared to the brand names for the same magnification. Well I am pleasantly surprised. Although the main body is not metal it is made of a polymer type plastic. Some firearms manufacturers use this type of polymer for parts on their guns. The most successful pistol in the world Glock to name one. The lens are clear and definition is good. With the comparible quality manufacturer costing 30x or so more. I dont have the funds for one of those and any case could never justify paying that kind if money for very very occassional use. Longevity we will see how well it lasts but I can see this item lasting me many years. One other thing to consider is weight, it is lighter than the metal cased brands and for me that is a bonus. The neck strap is pants and I will be getting a better one. I am very please with my purchase and can recommend it highly for its value for money and quality of build

I read the reviews about the magnification and to be honest just looking at the photos indicatated it couldn't be 20x magnification - just not big enough. This is a trade description breach and Amazon should deal with it. However, expecting them to be around 10x I thought I'd give them a go as I liked the idea of larger eyepieces and the price was a knock out (worrying though - how much are they paying the people who make them?). I got them about a month ago. I've a pair of Celestron 15x70 and can say that these are more in the region of 10x or maybe 12x. They are not too heavy, love the larger eyepieces and the images are surprisingly clear. I don't understand the comments about build quality, seems fine to me. All in all very pleased with them - so why try to deceive people by passing them off as what they are not?

The clarity and superb vision with my new binoculars is beyond my expectation! Beautifully packed and arrived quickly. They weigh 800 gms so heavier than I wanted but so good that I will be delighted to take them everywhere with me! Excellent quality and value for the money

Good for money, it's not heavy,bad focus wheel,zoom up to maybe 10x.

I bought these to go bird watching for the first time. Relatively cheap and does the job. Comfortable to hold, but there are much better versions on the market for professionals (more expensive though). For a once on a while hobby these are inexpensive and a great start.
