Compact durable fan
For being a cheap fan it works in small spaces. I use it for welding galvanized to blow the smoke away from me and to help keep me cool

Perfect little fan
Absolutely love this little fan! Works perfect with all my 18v Makita batteries. Puts out a lot of air and on 4 or 5 ah batteries can easily run 4 10 hr days on 1 charge. Have had for about 7 months and absolutely saved me this summer.

Fan works good, except for one small problem.
I got this fan in September 2023, and now it's April 2024, so I have plenty of time to test it out. When I first got it, I tested the run time on my only 2.0 AH 18V Makita battery. On the low setting I manage to get about 6.5 hours and 2.5 hour from the high setting on a full charge. As for noise, it is a little loud but tolerable. I used this on the low setting during the summer months when I am sleeping, (I live in Hawaii, so it cam be how almost all year.) This fan is cheaper and more quiet than an A/C unit to run all year. I started to bring and leave this fan at work now, I work at the Pearl Harbor Shipyard where I don't have A/C. With the noise from the Cranes and Forklift, this noise from the fan is nothing by comparison. Now for why I am giving it 4 stars. Like some other reviewer have mentioned, the fan stopped spinning for me about a month ago. At first I thought it is because I work outdoor by the ocean, so I thought the salt air may have corroded the metal part of the motor that connect to the fan blade. I do see the fan speed lit cycle through when I push it, so I know there is power going to it. What I did was used a paperclip to spin the fan while it's "on." It started to work like normal, but it did this a few times. After about 3 to 4 times of it doing this and me forcing the fan blade to turn, it never came back. For the past 2 weeks, and I have using this everyday and the problem never came back. Overall, and I am satisfied with this and it fits my needs. I don't really use this usb to charge my phone or other devices since I have access to a receptacles.

Great value
Great little fan. We took it camping and it moved a surprising amount of air for its size. I used an 18v 4ma battery and it ran all night with charge to spare

Nice fan for M18
Works great, nice and powerful and quiet. Although the usb connection inside broke off after 6 months, just like the one I had before.

Easily breakable
Good fan, but if it gets overrotated the wires break off inside and it no longer works. This happened after our first softball tournament and the girls were just angling the fan different directions. I took out the screw and sure enough it was coiled and the wires twisted and broke off. It works if you never rotate the fan, but if you look away and a kid is playing with it and you don’t know, I feel like it could break anytime.

The best night stand device
Battery lasts days due to its low power consuption, charging your phone off it uses more battery than the fan. The fan by itself can last days on a 4ah. Con: the battery snap sliding in and clicking is very rough, need to file a bevel on the grooves to hold the battery in. Lastly theres no off button you have to detach the battery from the fan to turn off. Easily a 5 star product for non construction site (around the house use only). Would easily fail a a drop test. UPDATE: Fan is still running with no issues, found out how to turn it off without unplugging the battery, HOLD the power button down. 🤦♂️

Fairly happy with it. It works.
Build quality seems fine for the price point. Enough power, a few speeds, and about the right size. My reason for 3 stars is an OEM Makita battery does not fit well. Makita OEM batteries will go on and work but, they are hard to put on or take off. I have some aftermarket batteries that work great. No issue at all. With an aftermarket battery I would give 5 stars so far.
