Good quality for the price
For the price, this is a good quality dog food. It scores 4.5 out of 5 on DogFoodAdvisor which is a pretty big thing for me. This product matches the FDA standard for what makes up dog food content and offers about 40% protein, 17% fat, and 36% carbohydrates. I did not have any issues when feeding this to my dog. It should be noted that this food has lentils and peas, both of which have been recently linked to dilated cardiomyopathy. Please be aware of this if your pup has any heart conditions or if your breed may be prone to heart troubles. The smell is great, it is not a stinky food. The kibble is just right for a medium sized dog, and I did not notice that My dog had any stomach upset with this brand. In fact, it was one of the first foods he would actually eat. My preferred brand is cheaper so I am feeding him that again, but I would absolutely feed him this again if I had to.

This food should be recommended by veterinarians
Oh my goodness, this food is incredibly delicious to start with! I have a Samoyed, and we were struggling to raise her in South Florida. She kept getting hot spots, and all her hair almost completely fell out. She couldn’t stay healthy and had to visit the vet regularly. Of course, there were other things I had to do to get her back on track, but this food was the most important factor. All I do is feed her this food and bottled water, and all her issues are mostly resolved. The vitamins and nutrients in the food save me a lot of money compared to buying all the separate supplements. I highly recommend this food to all dog owners, especially those with dogs that have hot spots, skin, and joint issues.

Seemed like good food, dogs are just picky!
Dogs were not fans. It's been hard to find a good dry food my dogs don't snub their noses at, and while they did eat this I had to doctor it up with wet food. They would eat it if they were starving, but mostly it just sat in the bowl. I didn't notice any smells and it looked like good quality dog food. I'm glad Amazon has their own brand for this that's less expensive than some other grain-free brands.

Doing great
My working line Labrador thrives on this food! I've been feeding it for several weeks now without incident. He eats a combination of kibble and fresh food, about 50/50; the only other food he's done this well on is Native Dog Food, but its hard to find and expensive online, so this is going to be my go to! I've used dozens of different formulas across different brands to find something that gives me the results I need, my boy works, he is a service animal so I need him in tip-top shape. His weight stays on without an issue, the protein level is perfect, and he doesn't smell. He doesn't have any food sensitivities and has eaten many chicken based dog foods without issue. I had him on Diamond Extreme Athlete before this food and oh.. my.. god did his feet smell like the extra strength fritos, that nasty, yeasty smell. I put his boots on him (we use them in hot weather to protect his feet) smelled god awful, I could catch a whiff a few feet away. Since switching him, the smell is more or less gone (dogs sweat through their feet, most smell anyway) and I honestly couldn't be happier. I can't stop saying how impressed I am. If we compare it to Diamond, the kibble with Wag! is better formed, not covered in crumbs, smells amazing and overall has better ingredients. Make the switch, you wont regret it.

Husky loved it. Tried to eat the bag too.
It's not for me to say what I like! What matters is what the dog will eat and it is my responsibility to make sure it's good quality and healthy. If I could afford a non-kibble diet for her, I would do so (as I don't think dogs have come this far to eat hardened ground up kitchen-sink-whatever; most kibble is garbage or worse), but I use kibble to accompany topper that I make at home. I generally avoid grain-heavy foods, as I notice her coat turns to crap, gets greasy and she smells not so good when she does eat processed grains. It's like her skin gets clogged up. But I do change her food often, since Huskies are notorious for getting bored with their food, and also, unfortunately, a bunch of the top branded grain-free foods are having legal issues, possibly for legitimate reasons. I purchased the small bag to test out on her. Ten minutes after I poured it in the food bin, I found her with the bag on her head trying to snorf the crumbs out. Obviously the value comes from purchasing the bigger bag, so I did not think the small bag was a lot of value for the price. Regardless, the food was accepted, eaten, and enjoyed. I will likely purchase again and make the food part of the rotation. I will admit, I was surprised she liked it so much; the food before the amazon wag stuff was Stella + Chewy's grain free beef kibble with some kinda raw powder on the food that made her go nuts for it. This was a bit of a demotion, but successful nonetheless.
