Super-Max Super Stainless Double Edge Safety Razor Blades, 200 blades (20x10)

These were bought for mu brother-in-law in Cuba, so I can't give more details about how good they are, but ones I get his opinion gladly would give another review.

After starting wet shaving with a 1950's Gillette, I got a bundle of 100 different blades, and since I have extremely sensitive skin, I have to be extra cautious of what is used. This blade turned out to be the best I found for sensitive skin out of the bundle, can't recommend it any higher.

These are always my first choice in my rotation. Very smooth. Almost no nicks and they last a long time. The most comfortable shave of all my blade choices.

Very inconsistent. I have only had one razor be actually sharp. The rest have ranged from fine to not cutting facial hair at all.

The Super-Max is not as sharp as some blades I've tried, but it's very, very smooth. That's not to say this blade isn't sharp, because it most certainly is, it's just middle-of-the-pack sharp, in my opinion. I'm getting excellent shaves from this blade and that's what matters. If you need a blade that's sharp, but puts smoothness ahead of that sharpness, these blades might be worth a shot, especially considering the price. I can't quite bring myself to give them five-stars, though. They're really good blades, but to get a five-star review out of me, there has to be a certain... je nais se quois, I guess, that these blades just aren't delivering.
