Coconut & Orchid Natural Body Wash Refill Pouch 1 Litre, Organic Moisturising Shower Gel with Essential Oils, Zero Plastic Waste

Very good consistency, feels great on skin

I like citrussy scents for my morning shower because I find them refreshing and invigorating. I also have dry sckin that reacts redily to some products, so the listing's description of this as an 'Ideal natural shower gel for sensitive skin' appealed. I also have a wall-mounted shower gel dispenser in my shower, making a refill pack perfect for me. The shower gel is true to the listing. It's a plastic pouch, with a spill-prrof valve in the top, so you actually have to squeeze the pack to get the gel to pour. The gel itself is a colourless viscous gel, and a good consistency for a shower gel. The scent is a very natural-smelling orangey scent without being clyingly sweet or synthetic-smelling. The ingredients are as shown in the picture attached. They unfortunately include ammonium lauryl sulphate, which I find can be quite drying and sometimes irritating; so I tried this gel out carefully, making sure I rinsed really well. The gel lathered up well and cleaned well, so it's an effective shower gel. After use and once I'd dried, I found the gel was no more drying than most I use, but neither was it moisturising - I definitely needed my post-shower body moisturiser. Fortunately I have no sign of any irritation or other adverse reaction. I also tested it out in a foaming hand-soap dispenser I have, at a ratio of one part gel to 5 parts water. It worked perfectly, producing clouds of orange-scented foam. At £15.29 for a litre(price as t time of review), this gel is reasonable value in my opinion. Personally I wouldn't buy again because I try to avoid sulphates, but other than that I'm happy to recommend.

I’m more than happy with this body wash, even though it’s a refill pack, it’s still on the more expensive side but the smell is lovely and strong without being overpowering and it cleans skin nicely without being harsh or drying. It lathers nicely and the lovely aroma really makes a shower feel luxurious. It’s also very nice to see that the pouch can be returned for free to the Bower Collective to be recycled. I would buy again despite it being a little expensive.

Great body wash. Smells good. It is a good consistency and I love the refill pouches. They are easy to use and the top allows you to easily pour into another container. Good value for money and will purchase again.

This is a lovely shower gel that its bursting with a fresh citrus scent. Made with essential oil and it does show in the strength of the fragrance, it is very natural and zesty. It works into a nice rich lather and does a great job of leaving your skin, soft, clean and fresh smelling. The pouch is very easy to use and you can quickly refill pretty much any bottle you have handy without making a mess. I initially thought it was a bit expensive however the 1 litre does do several refills (depending on the bottle size) and does seem like decent value for money for a good quality shower gel.

This body wash lathers up beautifully and leaves your skin feeling silky soft. Rather than the brashness of some citrus fragrances, this scent is nicely balanced. The fact that the pouch can be returned via freepost is a really nice touch and, no doubt, goes some way to account for the higher than average price. However, although it's more expensive than a lot of body washes, it's not overly so considering its eco credentials and the fact that it is a really nice body wash.

I try to use my nearest Zero Waste shop to refill hand and body wash bottles, but it’s a bit of a trip, so I really like that the pouch is returnable and the body wash can be decanted into your own bottles - there was no leakage of the product in the post. I hadn’t heard of Bower Collective before but I am impressed with the quality of this UK made body wash, it lathers very well and the orange scent is lovely without being overpowering - the fragrance is suitable for men or women. The pouch holds 1 litre of body wash, so will last for ages and it doesn’t contain parabens or other nasty chemicals. This is just the sort of product I like to use and the price is reasonable too,I will certainly have a look at Bower Collective’s other products.
