I've used both the Katchy brand and these replacement glue boards. I much prefer these. Not only are they stickier and attract the fruit flies and gnats better, but they also have a tiny little tab that allow you to insert and remove them easier. And they are so much cheaper. We've even just set the sticky pad down next to a bunch of bananas and caught fruit flies that way -- although with the machine it does work better. Highly recommend!

It catches a lot of flying little knats and mosquitos.

Update** Still love these so much more than the ones that came with my catcher.In fact I ran out of these and had to use the others until these came in (again). The gnats laughed at the other ones and literally walked on them. In the first few hours of putting these back in we caught two mosquitos and a handful of gnats. I most definitely recommend these!!The ones that came with my catcher didn't adhere very well... so I had gnats crawling on the actual sticky paper. I bought these as a backup when I ran out, so tried one of them. Thank Goodness! Worked great! caught gnats, flies, and a number of other insects. Now I only use these and threw the other ones out!

We got these as a cheaper alternative than the “Katchy” brand name and they work great! Caught all the fruit flies and were able to use one disc for multiple days. Very easy to use!

seems ok but not too sticky, I wonder if the sticky is the key or it really doesn't matter since once fly in, it would stay in whether its sticky to the pad or just lying on the pad?

We have 2 bug devices we use these boards with. 1 is the plug in light that has expensive replacement traps, and the other is the fan/light type device. These boars are very sticky and an economical replacement for any device. Will definitely buy again since we live in the buggy south!

As you can imagine, the stickiness is spot on as I have caught quite a few gnats in my house. I like to check them daily just to see if there’s any new insects. These are the second pack I have bought.
