Used for a game storage SSD on my pc. Loads up fast. the heatsink looks cool, and the storage capacity is as listed. Performs as listed, and was a nice and easy to fit and install.

Okay, first of all this item seems elite enough. I'm using it as a windows C drive because it boasts the dram feature and it has the quantity and price I need. At first it made a screeching noise. I researched this and apparently its a power saving mechanism when its idle. I decided to give it a chance and after I installed my microphone it hasn't made a noise since. The screw didn't fit my motherboard and the preinstalled motherboards cover/heatsink wont go on top but this was not a problem for me personally. It also has a screwdriver provided but don't expect any magnetism. There are downsides but this SSD is very fast and it was on offer through prime. Time will tell how reliable the SSD will be but I suspect that in a cooled PC system it will last longer than what some PS5 users report. As with all storage devices there is a reduction in usable capacity. This 4TB SSD provides 3.5TB of usable storage. Mine came preassembled (heatsink attached) and it was literally a 5 minute install. It instaleed and loaded windows very fast and some installations were literally finishing quicker than the software could report it. I have to say that in all honesty there is no major benefit in this drive over getting a different PCI 4 M.2 that may not be quite as fast or featured. That said, if you've spent thousands on PC parts and Internet speed then this is the probably the best you can get if you want to load quick enough to take the chopper first in Battlefield and void your old HDDs slow response times and keep the capacity and capability up to scratch.

So as games have been getting bigger on the PS5 it was time for an upgrade instead of deleting games when there's a new game or large update! So the upgrade process is straightforward and can be completed within a few minutes. I will say you may need your screwdriver as my PS5 had a very tight SSD screw. Regarding SSD options for the PS5, this one comes with the heat sink and was the best value option available at the time of purchase. After using it for a week, I have had no issues and noticed no slowdown in load times for games! I have attached a video to this review so you can see how easy it is to install the SSD in the PS5.

Worked well for 18 months, with fairly low usage, but now is unrecognised and can't be reformatted.

Ordered to increase memory on PS5. I have no knowledge of gaming/computing. Watched one YouTube video and installed without any issues. Turned PS5 on, clicked a couple of options and quickly transferred a number of games onto it freeing up memory. Seems to be all working as it should and no delays. Would buy again.

Finally more storage after games keep firing out 35gig updates every couple of weeks (mw3) and for the price worth it... The read speed is quicker than the Samsung one... Im not fussed about the write speed... It's all about how fast it can get the game to ya ps5 as ya playing it and like i said it is faster than the Samsung one and I bet other big branded ones

I’ve been using the **Fanxiang S770 4TB** for a while now and honestly, it delivers. Speeds are excellent — around **7,000 MB/s read** on PC and **6,300 MB/s on PS5**, which is more than enough for gaming or heavy file use. The **built-in heatsink** is a nice bonus, and it fits perfectly in the PS5 without extra work. Install was quick, and performance has been super consistent. If you want **Gen 4 performance** and **plenty of space** without overpaying for big brands, this is a great pick. Solid drive, great price.
