wow!!!! I wish I could give 10 stars!
I don't write a lot of reviews, but I had to about this product. I heard about this product and I needed something for those times when I noticed hairs on my legs I missed while shaving. I started using the hair eraser for this and it works pretty well. There is an added bonus for people like me who suffer with keratosis pilaris or as My mother called it "chicken skin". When I tell you I've tried everything under the sun to get rid of it, I am not lying. This hair eraser sands off the chicken skin. I have had this condition since I was a child. Bumpy red dotted skin on my legs. Now my legs are smooth and the spots are so much less noticable. I cant believe it, I could cry. Thank you Crystal Hair Eraser for literally changing my life!! Just as a side note, the package says do not use on face. I thought I'd try it on my hairy jawline. It removed the hair but irritated my skin sooo much! Follow the warning!!!!

It ACTUALLY works
I'll start off by saying I am not the type of woman that is super gung-ho about hair removal. I'm darker complected so I doubt anyone even notices most the time and even if they did 🤷🏾♀️. It doesn't bother my partner and it doesn't bother me so I don't worry about it most the time. Sometimes, however I just like to be nice and smooth. I bought this a month ago because part of what honestly got me out of the constant hair removal game was how much of a hassle it is so I'm always down to try a new method. I get razor bumps and ingrown hairs with shaving, more recently I've been using the hair removal creams but those will burn you if you leave them on too long and are messy and smell horrible. I have bad experiences with waxing my eyebrows, I almost always break out after and I've no idea why so I just don't even want to try it other areas. I saw this and vaguely remembered seeing on in my mom's bathroom as a child and thought why not try it for $12. It's been in it's box for weeks and I finally opened it and it WORKS. Hair removal and exfoliating all in one little device. I recommend using it in the shower and if you're having trouble in an area pulling the skin taut or flexing the muscle to stabilize the area you're working on. Small circles also seem to work best. My legs felt amazing after as I was moisturizing them and it's so easy I may just do hair removal more often.

Good Product But A Big Learning Curve
This product definitely has a learning curve! It works well but finding the right motions and amount of pressure is a painful process. If you push too hard you won't know in the moment because it feels painless BUT probably 5 minutes later your skin will burn soooo bad. It feels like road rash. I also recommend that if you need to go back, that you wait a bit to make sure you don't accidentally irritate your skin more. Be sure to have soothing lotion and/or aloe vera around. For me it more removes dead skin to make my skin soft rather than actually removing all hair. Be prepared for some pain at the start but after that it's good. My skin has never been softer!

Do NOT overdo it! Less is more when you're using this!
Update 2: I had some leftover Nair I decided to go ahead and use on my legs, and messed up and got some chemical burns (I decided to try and do both legs at the same time and kept getting distracted, so it was left on for too long). It took a long while to recover from and when I tried using this product afterword's it made my skin raw, and I mean it took a *long* time until I could use this product without it making my skin raw again. I think this could be why a lot of women are also experiencing razor burn if also following the directions exactly. If you are using ANYTHING else that exfoliates your skin, from a chemical exfoliant/hair remover to a sugar scrub, give your skin time to recover and build up before using this product or decide on which you would like to use more. This product will exfoliate your skin and if it is already exfoliated or being exfoliated, you will then exfoliate yourself raw. I wait until I have a half inch of hair on my legs before I use this again, less is more. Update: I didn't actually find it worked any better in the shower on my legs, still had a few stubborn hairs that I left alone so I didn't make my skin raw. I did find that the water kind of lubricated the skin and the exfoliation felt gentler and nicer on the skin due to that. I have folliculitis and opening my follicles with the water, exfoliating, then locking in the moisture by lotioning after, virtually got rid of my folliculitis! I have never actually had no spots on my skin in my life, it doesn't feel real and I never ever in a million years would have thought a simple affordable Amazon product could do this for me! My one complaint is relatively minor and more specifically to the legs, it's difficult to explain but I have a dip in my leg between my leg bone and my calf muscle, because of how wide this tool is I have a really hard time getting in there to get hairs, I have to relax my leg muscle completely which is really really hard to do in the shower standing up and trying to hold your balance, so I think I will continue to just use this product dry to get around this issue. I tried this product as soon as I recieved it. It does an incredible job at exfoliating, similar to using a pumice stone but much gentler and more fine in how it exfoliates. However I have noticed it does not seem to work as well dry, I know per manufacturer's instructions they say to use it wet, I was hoping I could use it dry because I have physical limitations that make bending in the shower difficult, but I will say the dry results aren't super awful or terrible, they are simply not perfect. I see quite a few hairs left behind though they've been cut down by like half, and I only notice them if I'm really sitting down and looking for them, I really doubt anyone would notice if you were out walking around, and it removes enough hair to still give the overall appearance of looking shaved, it's not like the removal is spotty or anything, there were just a few stubborn hairs for me (and I have very thick hair). In an effort to make it perfect, I also over exfoliated my skin and made my folliculitis very angry, as soon as I felt the stinging and pain I stopped immediately and slapped on some Goldbond Eczema lotion and while the folliculitis is still a bit red, things have calmed down quite a bit so I managed to avoid the worst of it. So word of caution, don't be like me, if you see some hairs left behind let them be, it's not the end of the world, exfoliating yourself raw will be though! This was just on my arms, I am going to try doing my legs in the shower and will report how that goes! I'm expecting it to go better with the water allowing the exfoliation to go smoother and maybe the hair will be less stubborn due to that.

It works, that's all
I'm male, and maybe a little different, because I like to have a smooth chest. I've had my chest hair lasered, which worked somewhat but hurt like the Dickens. After this I used an epilator, which was incredibly painful at first, but hurt far less over time. Even so, my chest rarely felt smooth. I've also shaved, but this created problems with ingrown hairs, and I have lumps to this day. Anyway, as to this product, it absolutely works, although it doesn't work as well on fat skin, because the user needs to be able to bear down while using it. On my chest, it made my skin perfectly smooth, which no razor or epilator could ever do. I played around with it and used it on the top of my upper thigh, and it removed a massive amount of hair in almost no time. I was kind of stunned to see how quickly it removed all the hair. If I had what I wanted, I would have legs that were slightly less hairy, but certainly not completely hairless, but I'm not sure that is an option with this device, but maybe it is. Who knows?

OUCH
This thing gets your skin absolutely BABY smooth but the catch— it rubs your skin raw. My skin felt so soft and smooth at first then about an hour later the area broke out in a painful rash. It also takes significantly longer than shaving. Luckily it took so long that I lost patience and only did a small area otherwise my whole body would have been broken out in a rash. I did like this for removing the dry cracked skin from my heels though. It worked wonders and didn’t irritate that area at all. So I will continue using this on my heels but never again for hair removal!

It only kind of works.
For context, I have pretty thick hair, and that includes my body hair. Shaving with a razor usually takes me two hours and four razors just to get all the hair off my legs (an electric razor can help cut down on time and disposable razors, though). I also have sensitive skin. I had heard good things about these kinds of hair removal tools, and I thought maybe it'd be quicker, easier, and less painful than using a razor. It's not, really. It irritates the skin, as other reviewers can attest to, and part of the reason for this is because you have to scrub the skin in a circular motion to get any hair off. Moving it side-to-side doesn't work as well. In general, though, it really takes a lot of scrubbing to get most of the hair, and it still didn't get all of it! I had to go in with a razor and clean up everything that it missed. On top of that, it still somehow broke skin and left me bleeding. It's only a knick, nothing serious, but it really just feels like using a worse razor. And with how much it irritates my skin, I honestly feel like a razor is faster, easier, and less of a pain. If you have fine hair, maybe this is the product for you, but it still struggled with the finer hairs on my arms and the barely-there stubble on my legs. The packaging advertises using it for your bikini area, but I'm obviously not going to try that, and I would advise you all to do the same. Skip this one, I'd say.

Great quick fix for leg hair
This is a great little tool, especially given the low price! I used it all over my body, but it definitely worked the best on my legs - left my skin a little tender and was ashy from the dead skin that was removed, but it was SO smooth afterwards. It’s not ideal for areas of the body that aren’t flat (ie armpits & bikini line), but it’s a super quick and simple solution to replace shaving. I still shaved afterwards to get any leftover hairs, but I’d definitely use it again!

Absolutely don't buy this
Probably my worse amazon purchase of all time. Not only does it not remove hair (you'll remove one or two at best), but you will also irritate your skin to the point it burns for day. It's basically like rubbing sandpaper on your skin. Yes it might remove a few hair but it takes longer than a razor and irritates your skin like crazy. Can't believe I paid this much for this cheap little plastic thing. Save your money

Be VERY gentle with it
It exfoliates a bit too well, I spent an hour trying to gently get the hang of it last night and it didnt hurt while I was using it, but after I was done, massive painful rashes appeared (over-exfoliated) to where I couldn't even put a sheet on top of me when sleeping... Fair warning to anyone that wants to try it, it works but you need to really be gentle!
