Honeywell ATF600 evohome Wi-Fi wall mount with power supply

Item received next day, in original packaging, well wrapped to avoid damage in transit. Good value for money. Excellent transaction, no issues whatsoever.

Item arrived as described. Although I have put it into a back box for now until chased into the wall. Initially I thought it was not working but actually there is a bit of friction to engage it properly. All working sweet!

This was bought to install the evohome controller in the same location as the old CM707 wired stat. The screw spacing for the back-plate match the CM707, which is great. The DC side of the transformer is incredibly frustrating to work with. Out of the box, it comes with a very short cable, connecting the transformer to the wall plate; the intention being that you install the transformer in a back-box and then the wall plate over the top. I have installed the transformer in what was the airing cupboard on the other side of the wall. This means having to extend the cable. The DC terminal block is horrible. It only accepts tiny gauge wires (no more than 1mm), has tiny screws, and has both positive and negative terminals close together, with two unused terminals wasting space that could have been used for larger terminals. Furthermore, the terminal block is angled so that the wire enters sideways, and then also recessed. The screws don't have any stops, so they'll fall out if you undo them too far. There's a cable retention clamp, which is so tight you're at risk of ripping the cable out of the terminal when trying to use it. It's incredibly frustrating and fiddly - it took more time to screw those two cables back in than any other step of the installation. Once it's connected, you need to screw the wall plate on the wall, making sure you don't trap the cable between the wall and the back plate, or the back plate and the front mount. It works, but it's a lot of money for a bit of plastic and a transformer, and there's not even anything to keep the controller positively locked into the mount, so it's at risk of being knocked off accidentally. Shame that they couldn't manage to use the same colour plastic for the two parts of the plate too!

I just installed this to complement my evohome setup. Installation is easy, run a powercable from a socket to a (ideally 35mm) backbox and connect the transformer up. Screw the wallmou t on and switch the power back on. I did not hace any problems with the faceplate bending and it works great.

If you want your Evohome control unit to be wall (rather than desk) mounted then you have no other choice than to buy this. It does the job but there's not much strength to it and you have to be careful. The wiring supplied is too short and thin and the designers have not made it easy for more practical (longer) wiring to be installed. They appear to have assumed that the PSU will always be installed below the wall mount which is not always physically possible. For example, the PSU for my unit is located a metre above in a ceiling void and requires a longer connection wire. Replacing the supplied thin wiring is tricky because the screw connections are small PCB types and very fiddly to access and use. However, this having been done the unit works as intended. Even so, it is far too expensive for what it is.

The Honeywell evoHome system is a precise update for older none zoned central heating installations. You are able to set heating parameters for individual rooms and control the temperature demand accurately. It should be noted that this upgrade is not cheap but it has long term advantages and savings. Also take your time setting everything up. Finally note that each radiator will need an actuator to be fitted.

Very pleased with speed of delivery and price paid. Not yet installed the valves so not able to comment on performance

These are NOT the HR92UK. The advert says UK, but the screens are upside-down -- they are the European version. It looks really odd fitted vertically, you have to turn your head around to read the display. Look carefully at the image on this advert, it shows them upside-down (if only I had looked carefully at the image before buying!). I have submitted for a refund, and am getting real UK versions (HR92UK). Do not buy from this vendor if you want the HR92UK! That said, the evohome system with HR92's is superb, it's just this vendor that lets it down badly.

Werkt goed en is vrij makkelijk te plaatsen. Ook het draadloos koppelen gaat goed als je het eenmaal doorhebt hoe te doen.

Sam regulator jest dobry. Trzeba było tylko dokupić adapter do montażu na grzejniku. Baterie wystarczają na dłużej niż rok. Ale proszę uważać. Problem tkwi w jednostce sterującej Evohome – steruje kotłem po OpenTherm w niewłaściwy sposób. Po wydaniu polecenia „ogrzewaj” rozgrzewa czynnik grzewczy aż do 80°C! Musiałem kupić i zaprogramować dodatkowe urządzenie, aby skorygować sygnał OpenTherm. A przecież zwykły użytkownik nie jest w stanie tego zrobić – i nie po to kupuje się gotowe rozwiązanie znanej marki.

For the people complaining about adapters, the M30 adapter is actually in the controller head, just unlock the controller (small sliding button) and remove the adapter for installation on the valve. The M28 adapters in the box are there as a supplement. I've had a head scratching moment myself the first time but after having a better look I have found the M30 adapters already placed inside the controllers. The product itself is very good and really easy to setup. Once the main controller has been setup and the receiver/relay connected to the boiler adding new rooms with one or more radiator controllers is very easy. And as the main controller (CHR99) links with Amazon Alexa and Google Home it's simple to automate the heating of the house. As for the valve controllers, they work fine, I already have 8 pieces installed and I will purchase 6 more to complete the house automation. The only small caveat is that the M30 and M28 adapters have the middle controlling pin (the one that presses on the radiator valve) passing through a black plastic guide that looks like a headless screw. When installing, you should be careful not to over tighten the adapter as that guide might brake. In any case, if you brake it, you get an additional set from the M28 adapters in the box so you can replace the part from one of the extras (just use a small set of pliers to unscrew it). I also appreciate the fact that the system "learns" if there are any differences/inconsistencies in your house heating system. In my case, as the oil boiler is a bit old (35 years) it has no internal heat variation so when it starts it goes from the daytime 40 degrees water temperature to 90 in order to preheat for the night. Also, not all the room heaters are from the same generation so the response of the valve is not entirely consistent. In the first couple of weeks this lead to some of the rooms being a bit over heated over the temperature I have setup (24,5 instead of 23 in one room and 25 instead of 23 in another). This issue has disappeared in the third week as the main controller has automatically adapted and now opens the heater controllers for those rooms only half way until the correct temperature is reached.

Je viens d une installation avec 16 radiateurs, des têtes thermostatiques analogiques, et un thermostat sans fil honeywell DTS92 connecté via une passerelle fifthplay et une plate-forme Web. J avais déjà le relais honeywell sans fil connecté à ma chaudière. Donc je savais déjà surveiller et commander mon installation à distance. Je viens d installer le thermostat evohome connecté en wifi, en remplacement du honeywell DTS92, ainsi que 6 têtes honeywell HR92. Bonne nouvelle, le relais BDR91 qui était précédemment installé sur ma chaudière est toujours d actualité, donc j epargne cet achat ainsi que son installation. Bon point pour Honeywell qui dure dans le temps. J ai installé les 6 têtes dans mes pièces stratégiques, c est à dire la cuisine, le salon, la salle à manger, deux salles de bain et une chambre. J envisagerai peut être de remplacer les autres vannes ultérieurement. Jusqu ici cela me coûte à peu près 500 euros. Pas besoin de la passerelle internet supplémentaire vu que les derniers thermostats sont connectés directement à votre wifi. J ai pu également réutiliser mon ancien thermostat DTS92 comme sonde sans fil pour la cuisine, donc réutilisation maximum, allant au delà de mes espérances. Côte installation, le thermostat dispose de plusieurs assistants pour vous faciliter l installation. Plutôt convivial et assez facile à suivre, si vous êtes habitué des smartphones, systèmes de navigation ou ordinateurs. La configuration des programmes est bien pensée, une fois une zone configurée, vous pouvez facilement copier tout ou partie sur d autres jours ou d autres zones. Pour les têtes thermostatiques, l adaptateur qui se trouvait dans la tête convenait pour mes vannes, donc pas eu besoin d utiliser les nombreux adapteurs fournis dans la boîte. La liaison des têtes est aussi assez intuitive si vous lisez bien le guide d installation au préalable. Après quelques jours d utilisation, voici mon avis: Les plus - chaque zone est chauffée séparément, et non plus en fonction de la température d une seule pièce, et donc quand une tête thermostatique s ouvre pour chauffer la pièce, elle commande aussi l allumage de la chaudière pour cette seule pièce. Cela représente pour moi le plus grand avantage, c est un confort génial. Chaque pièce est chauffée quand vous le souhaitez, et pas besoin d allumer et de fermer les têtes en permanence, tout ceci se fait automatiquement sur base de vos programmes, jusqu a 6 changements par tête et par jour - via Google home, je peux dire "dis Google, règle la température de la salle de bain parents à 22 degrés" avant de monter me doucher. Cela peut faire gadget, mais cela fonctionne très bien - il y a évidemment aussi l application smartphone, tablette, et tout ceci gratuitement Les moins - je n ai pas encore trouvé la possibilité de consulter l historique des températures par pièce pour surveiller le fonctionnement du système Le coût - Côté coût, je pense que le coût reste raisonnable, une tête normale coûte à peu près 20 euros et une tête connectée coûte 65 euros. Pour moi, le différence de 45 euros par tête vaut largement le confort qu elle apporte, et comme moi, vous n êtes pas obligé de remplacer toutes les têtes, seulement dans les pièces ou le réglage est le plus important, c est à dire les pièces de vie et les salles de bain. J espère que mon commentaire vous aidera. J ai moi même profité d autres commentaires, il n est pas toujours évident d y voir clair parmi toutes ces informations.

Onlangs heb ik de Honeywell Home THR0924HRT Evohome Radiatorregelaar aangeschaft, en ik ben er ontzettend tevreden mee! De connectiviteit met de Honeywell Home-app is een ander groot voordeel. Via de app kan ik eenvoudig de temperatuurinstellingen aanpassen, timers instellen en zelfs de verwarming op afstand regelen. Dit is vooral handig wanneer ik op weg ben naar huis, zodat ik een warme en gezellige sfeer kan creëren voordat ik arriveer.
