this really helps with keeping all the meatball the same size and it save a little time by filling the trays and cutting each one - don't have to continually pick up a spoon, put it down roll the meat, repeat.

I purchased this with the intent of making uniform drop or rolled cookies. I was so skeptical that this worked as shown, but I was VERY pleasantly surprised that it did. It was so easy to spread dough in it and use the cutter exactly as shown - and I wound up with uniform cookies very quickly. This will easily be one of my favorite cookie-making tools.

This is pretty flimsy and the meat ball size is TINY

This tool is a great shortcut for me when I make Italian Wedding Soup. I didn’t have high hopes using it for the first time. I have used the mini scoop (similar to those used for cookie dough) and had a lot of stickiness with chunks of ground meat stuck to the metal.While my soup heats to boiling, I was able to make the “meatballs” by packing the tool with the ground meat than used the scallop-shaped tool to cut into the ground meat and swipe into the soup. I chose to make them flat and thin so it’ll cook faster. Note that the shape is more flat and not circular. Presentation is not very important for this recipe so this tool was a real time-saver.

I was expecting a much larger size. It would be like making meatballs for a toddler.

This is something you would think belongs in a kindergarten class to use with play dough, that's all it might be good for! would send back but it was cheap too, should have known better!
