Definitely Tetra For Ammonia Test
I have been using the API Master Kit but the Ammonia Test tends to go towards the GREEN 0.25PPM reading so I thought I would try a different make.I tried the Salifert kit but it uses very little tank water and I found it hard to compare the result on the chart provided. The Tetra has three bottles to use and takes 20 minutes to develop the colour but immediately on adding Bottle 3 it showed up as an obvious YELLOW and remained that way for the full 20 minutes . I might now change to the TETRA test for Nitrates to see how it goes .I can definitely recommend this Tetra Ammonia kit

Accurate and reliable.
Good test kit. Its worked well with my salt water tank. Its doesnt have the greatest resolution when managing small ranges of ammonia, but gave me true readings unlike other (cough....API...cough) test kits did.Well reccomend/

Works fine, probably more accurate than paper strip.
Simple enough to use, although the multi-lingual instructions are in a tiny font. Reassuring to know that the fish aren't being stressed by high ammonia in the water. The included colour card is nice and clear to match to the test tube, with a range from 0 to 5 mg/l. Above that the fish will be dead, of course, so no need to measure.

Sehr guter funktionierender Test
Tut sehr genau was er soll. Wie immer bei den Tetra-Tests kinderleicht zu verwenden und sehr verständlich beschrieben - die Pappkarte für den Farbvergleich ist sehr wertig und wird der Feuchtigkeit beim Messen sicherlich lange standhalten - sehr dufte!

Takes time to get the results (more than 20 min) and the color scale is not so clear, but it really works good.
