Algae Control - Natural Aquarium Cleaner - Aquarium Water Treatment - Plant-Based Aquarium Algae Solution

As the title suggests, I used this product to successfully treat an outbreak of Cyanobacteria in my 75G co2 injected, planted aquarium.After removing as much of the Cyanobacteria as possible via brushing, cutting and vacuuming, then treating my 75G tank for two weeks with this product, the Cyanobacteria disappeared. A bit pricey; however, it did work. Two weeks have passed since then and the Cyanobacteria has not returned.Cannot speak to the effectiveness against regular algae, as I already did not have any. I bought this because it was advertised as a product to remove Cyanobacteria without harming invertebrates. Cyanobacteria is generally extremely difficult to remove, and this did in fact remove it.

I triple checked the dose (I am a veterinarian). Added the appropriate amount to a 75 gallon tank that has been running well for 5 years. Just had a small black beard algae problem that would not quite go away with water regular water changes and modification to feeding and light. I added the product at 3pm yesterday and all seemed well. I woke up at 7 this morning to a tank with a thin layer of foam at the top of the water and all the fish (except the corydoras) gasping at the top of the water. I made an immediate large water change and everything improved immediately. Unfortunately I lost 4 cardinal tetras and one of my beloved rummynose tetras. With no other variables or changes made to the tank I can only conclude this product somehow caused a low dissolved oxygen situation overnight. The only plants in the tank are anubias that have been there for years and this has never been a problem. I fear I will find more dead fish in their root system as the lights come on later. Just because they list this product as "natural" and plant based does not mean it's safe. Use at your own risk.

This is amazing stuff!!! It helps get rid of algae while keeping the fish and snails alive and unhurt! Best I’ve tried.

I've used nearly a whole bottle now. No improvement in hair algae. It's actually worse than when I started. I can't say that's the fault of the product, but it certainly hasn't helped to combat it. I tried.

Product is easy to use. Method of use could be a bit better as it's easy to spill over the ca, thus losing some of the product. As well as the amount to be used is variable due to the nature of algae and blue green algae. If you have a larger tank - you will go through this size in no time flat. However, it is effective in reducing the amount of algae/blue green algae in the tank. consider a larger amount of multiples of this size to use as directed.

I have a 40 gallon, healthy, low tech planted aquarium with a nice school of 6 black rams and a couple of plecos. I preform weekly 40-50% water changes and the algae was starting to get a little annoying so after much research I thought I'd give this stuff a try. It's been a week now from first dose and I lost 2 of my adult male black rams, Banana Plant and Cameroon Moss... No algae control to be seen and plants not thriving. I followed the dosing instruction very carefully because I was worried about how this would work and used the minimum dose. Well to say the least I'm very frustrated and upset I lost 2 of my prize fish. I should have known better and sorry to say @Green Water Labs your product is ineffective and also kills fish. Never again... Word to the wise.

Works great as a daily algae killer once you have a fairly algae free aquarium! Just way too expensive and haven’t found larger quantities available at a better price. Even if you buy a two or three pack it’s not a deal! Great product though!

I have many tanks and many different types of tanks throughout my house. This product works well. The first time I used it and continues to satisfy my needs.
