Its okay. There room for improvement. Its a little bit of a tight seat. Im not super heavy but a little more than average and I felt like it was squeezing me but not in an uncomfortable way. My main issue is the position of the back rest is really leaned back. While this may be good for just leaning back, its a pain if I just want to sit up since there is no support there. Overall though its light, easy to setup, sturdy, extremely compact and a good choice for backpacking or having a spare chair in your car in case you need one. I got it while it was on sale, so for $20 its worth it. Anything above that...let's just say others in that price range might be a better choice.

Fantastic chair. I just bought a second one, and returned the other brand I bought. Don’t get the Basecamp Supply Co. chair; this Nature Hike chair is wayyy better. Compact, well built, balanced, and comfortable. Fits my 6’2’’ 220 lb. This thing is solid and it packs up so small.

About a month ago I bought this chair to replace my old Walmart brand backpacking chair . The old chair was actually pretty good. It had one week link that I had overlooked on my last motorcycle camping trip . After at least twenty nights sitting in it at various campgrounds one of the hubs that the bottom leg slips into had worn out as a result of sinking into the ground, and creating an uneven platform. My guess is due to most of my weight being on the back leg as a result of it sinking deeper than the others into the ground wore the hub out . I could still sit in it , but it felt wonky. I choose the nature hike chair because it was lighter and more compact than the ozark . The Nature hike also has feet that work similarly to a basket on a ski pole , making it less likely to sink into the ground. I’ve used the chair many times . It’s very comfortable for me at 6’2” 200 pounds ,and 34” inseam. It packs small , and the overall build quality seems very strong .the pockets that accept the posts of the chair are very well sewn ,and there is no plastic at any major stress point!

I got this chair for camping and fishing, and it has been excellent. The main reason I chose it was the weight capacity, and it has held up really well even back when I was heavier. The stitching and materials feel solid, the frame is sturdy, and it is comfortable for sitting around camp or by the water. Now that I have lost over 60 pounds, it feels even better to use and still feels very stable. It packs down compact, stores easily, and it is lightweight enough to bring anywhere. Great chair and I would buy it again.
