Q: Is this light good for corals? Also can you get a bracket to hang on instead of the ceiling?

This light is good for corals. I'm not having any issues with my corals. Not aware or any other attachments made for this particular brand of lights. Alot of people DIY something that's what I did. It's not that hard or expensive. One of the newest reviews for this product is mine and I included some pictures. Not sure if they showed all the stuff I did to hang them but will be glad to send email or something.

I currently use the 165w mounted about 4 inches above my 10 gallon nano. And it works wonderfully. I couldn't not hang it as it is under cabinet so I used magnets that I epoxy to bottom of cabinet. You won't try things just make sure to start low percentage and work up to where you need it.

This unit is going to be overkill it very bright so tbh I'd start at 5 blues 5 whites for LPS and hang it at 12" off the water surface if you like more blue tint put whites on 1 they dont help grow corals anyways.
