Good aquascaping basics

Seem to be very good quality good value for the money they have only had minimal use but so far I'm impressed

Items appear to be well made and are ideal for reaching the depths of my fish tank.

I have seen other reviews recommending that you dry the tools after use. This is a good idea, but it's not needed. I've left them to dry out while wet on many occasions and they haven't rusted, it seems they're true stainless steel. I use these for my 3 heavily planted tanks on a regular basis. You don't get a case like other listings, but you get a saving on the tools! I use a heavy, tall coffee jar to store these in. The scissors are for trimming plants, the tweezers to pick up detritus or shed leaves, or anything else you need to do. These tools are really handy if you have an aquarium! Can't recommend them more.

Not sure that they're actually stainless steel, or they are a very low grade, as they're magnetic. Otherwise, they certainly seem to do the job at keeping my bush trimmed

They aren't the best tools for sure but it certainly works if you are using them gently, not applying too much pressure too quickly. Good length, a lot easier to cut and replant any plant.

These tools are awesome - I am only 5' 4" with a 24" deep, 100 gal tank; I get soaked every time I trim, or add a new plant. Just tried them out; & didn't even get wet (except for my hands). The flat little shovel thing works great for pushing your substrate to the side, then I "grab" the plant with one pair of the tweezers & place it in the hole/space I just created, using the shovel to put the substrate back in place/on top of the plant roots. They are quite long, stainless steel (so they'll never rust), & a GREAT value for the price. The one (very small) "con" is that they don't come w/a storage case - they come in a tall "zip-lock-type" of bag. That said, BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU OPEN THEM - MINE WERE WRAPPED IN BUBBLE WRAP & SECURELY TAPED, so WHEN I (carefully tried to) CUT THE TAPE/BUBBLE WRAP, I ACCIDENTLY CAUGHT THE TOP OF THE BAG; NOW IT WON'T ZIP/CLOSE.
