5 Flavors Sweet Storybook Gift Box, 1.14-Ounce Roll (6 Rolls of Candies)

This was a good buy although a little expensive. I have found it well worth it because I can’t easily find this edition. My son loved it and he shared with me which was the very best part!! They were fresh and delicious. Arrived right on time and no broken lifesavers!! I would buy again for sure 👍

I AM SOOO DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS ITEM. Back in the day fruit flavored Life Savers were one of my most favorite candy treats. The flavors (cherry, orange, pineapple, lime and grape) were bursting with flavor! I still buy them today and just tolerate the not so new anymore flavors, raspberry and watermelon. REALLY! Substituting grape and lime for raspberry and watermelon! They never contacted me before making that horrendous decision. So I have this great idea! Check the internet! So I open Amazon and type “original flavor life savers”. BINGO! There they were in a little box with 6 rolls and the flavors clearly stated; orange, pineapple, lime, cherry and grape! The original flavors. WOW! I was so excited (doesn’t take much these days!) I added a box to my cart, confirmed my order and paid. Two days later my parcel is delivered and I tear the pouch open and can’t wait to experience those nostalgic flavors again. Seconds later somewhere between rage and disappointment I see the words raspberry and watermelon! But the webpage said grape and lime. I know I know it’s just some stupid candy get over it! So I’ll just have to rely on my fading memory to “enjoy” those classic flavors again and in retaliation I shall put a significant dent in their sales by never purchasing another lifesaver product for the remainder of my days.

These Life Savers candies have the familiar flavors for all the different colors. But unless you are going to eat them up quickly, do not buy too many at once . I made that mistake, thinking that at this good price, I would stock up and tuck away for a couple of months later. Bad move. The candies, even though the rolls remained unwrapped, were so hard, they were almost not edible. They also stuck so badly together they were almost impossible to pry apart. When I did manage to get 2 or 3 separate they then started to disintegrate into crushed shards. I ended up having to just throw away most of my 'savings'.

Both boxes were stale. For the price we were expecting better quality. We were not able to return because these were a food product. We did not enjoy them.

What a total ripoff. I, too, thought it was six lifesaver story books, NOT one storybook with six rolls of lifesavers.. Went back to read the item description carefully and it did say six pieces. To be totally honest it should have said six rolls of lifesavers. What a ridiculous price for six rolls of lifesavers.

What a joke $29 for 1 package of these. It said Quantity of 6! Don't fll for this.

Rip off

When I saw the price and saw it was 6 pieces, i thought it would be 6 storybooks. BUT NO! Upon receipt it is one story book for that price, with 6 rolls in it. Argh. Feel so ripped off!
