My MIL is a total care quadriplegic that has only very limited use of her left hand (she is right handed before her accident). I use the plate and bowl everyday for 4 mo and they still stick to the table. One review complained about a toddler being able to detach the bowl, but if a handicap person uses them correctly they don’t move. Good thing is the suction piece comes off and you can wash it good, but that is a little annoying because sometimes it can aggravate you putting it back on. My only other nitpicking complaint is the suction is so good that if I have to pick the plate up to adjust it the plate will come off without the base and I have to put it back on. I have only hand washed them but they seem to being holding up. The suction piece I feel is getting a little worn hence the reason they are a little annoying to put back on, but they are working.I am going to order 2 more sets. Easy to use. Highly recommend! She loves them because it opens up opportunities to eat more things because she can feed herself without it spilling over.

Dishwasher safe, the suction is a great feature and has enabled a client to eat with greater independence.

These plates were so helpful for my husband who had Alzheimer’s. Blue is among a few colors that stand out to an Alzheimer’s patient. The lip helps the food stay on the fork or spoon.

Update: Don't usually update review but...I love this! If I keep a napkin close there isn't a problem.l will definitely order again! It does stick but not always where you intend. As you attempt to loosen it, the white bottom pulls away from the food area. I don't always have an extra hand. The material is sturdy, durable, and easy to wash. Unfortunately, I probably won't purchase again.

Great guality very sturdy, slip resistant has the ability to be suction to the surface you eating on so your plate won’t tip over. Ease of cleaning and size.

So far so good have to see if it hold up over time!

Not flimsy, dishwasher safe, just had shoulder surgery and had to use left hand only. Bowl worked well. Could get a whole dinner inside and then microwave

I definitely recommend these bowls for someone who may have a physical condition and needs the plates to stay in one place. The lip on the plates helps from food spilling and so far it’s still staying in one place for 3 months. I like these plate and bowl set.

Bought for my Grandma with Dementia to help sustain her independence at meal time. These are great! The bright red creates a nice contrast with the food to assist with low vision. Having a higher edge allows her to push the food upwards onto a spoon. I dont need to use the suction cup part, but this is a great feature! Great design and quality.
