Better than barefoot
Flexibility quality size comfort style durability ha. Check them all off. These have been a game changer for me. I deal with many issues medically with my feet and lower extremities in. These have given me more ease in walking, not to mention they are great outdoor shoes

Horrible quality, enough to the point I was actually surprised. You could see the glue holding the soul to the base of the shoe and the entire shoe smelled awful. It's also a slip on shoe and unless you are insanely skinny the top will squeeze your ankles

Quality is not what it used to be
Quality has gone down. Shoes fall apart as they adhesive between the fabric and tread become detached after light use.

Comfortable fit and washable (teenager recommended)
My son (the shoe hater) loves these. They are his second pair of barefoot shoes and he lives in them. They become a little less fresh after a bit, but are just fine after a run through the wash.

Top material problem
Bought these since I already use vibram shoes. Comfort and grip is great. However, the material of the laces has a "plastic" that irritates the top of the foot where it creases when stepping. Apparently it is a common issue with this model according To some forums. Returning and ordering the Lite III to try instead

Should have half sizes
I wish they have half sizes.. I ordered a 10 felt nice for a two days, but the lines that runs over the big toe starts to hurt my joint. Then I ordered a 11, it has more big toe room but feels loose. Lightweight and stylish

Low quality in comparison to the previous model
I've purchased the same model of shoes a couple of years ago. I still wear this pair sometimes. Recently, I've purchased a pair of the same model. The new pair is of lower quality and I already have to glue them back together after the sole of the shoe detached. So either Vivobarefoot changed the production quality of their shoes recently or I've somehow gotten a fake pair of shoes.

I purchased these Vivobarefoot Primus Lite Knit in May 2024 for £116, expecting a high-quality, durable minimalist shoe. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Despite using these shoes primarily for casual wear with some light running and walking, they've worn out at an alarming rate. Looking at the photos I've kept them in excellent condition. The most concerning issues are: 1. The glue on the heel has come off 2. The sole is separating from the upper 3. Stitching is coming out from the upper For a shoe at this price point, I expected significantly better durability. The fact that they seem to rely heavily on glue for construction is particularly disappointing. This isn't my first negative experience with Vivobarefoot, and at this point, I'm hesitant to consider their products in the future. While I'm generally willing to pay a premium for quality, these shoes simply don't meet the standard I'd expect for £116. I cannot recommend the Primus Lite Knit based on my experience. The rapid deterioration of the shoe makes it a poor value proposition. I'm now in the process of contacting Amazon to seek a resolution for this issue. Hopefully they allow me to return this for a refund. If you're looking for minimalist shoes, I'd suggest looking at other brands that offer better durability and value for money.

I've had this pair for 7 months. Nearly exclusive use for gym weightlifting 3 times a week. Except of 3 minutes walk to the gym nearby and some jumping jacks or a bit of rowing on a machine for the warm-up, there was nearly no strain on the shoes at all. I mean, come on, how much bench press, pull-ups or even a dead lift affects shoes... Durability: poor, despite the low mileage on this pair. Yet it in the left shoe sole started coming off (see photos). Performance: when shoe bends, it cuts sharply into the part of the feet just behind toes. This wasn't a big issue as I use socks and mostly stand in them whiles lifting weight. Had I gone on a many miles trail it could be disturbing. This has never fully gone despite 7 moths of use. Fit: except of the mentioned issue it was great actually. For my fairly slim feet the fit in the back and middle of the foot was snug and neat, still with plenty of space at the toe-box as barefoot shoes should be. I wish, I could rate these higher. I really like them. But them starting to fall apart in such a short time isn't really acceptable at this price. Also, all the advertisement about sustainability yada yada. VIVOBAREFOOT? Want to be sustainable? Please, make durable products. In summary, it seems we are facing usual brand erosion, when as the brand recognition grows along with the marketing budget, so does the price but quality goes the other way, unfortunately. For the reference, I had a different pair of vivo's bought in 2017 (former motus strength). Used seasonally but a lot in total since - including jungle, desert, beach, forest, mountain and sharp volcanic rock trails. They were indestructible! Only recently started showing signs of wear&tear but even this is mostly cosmetic. They still are fully functional, just don't look or smell great anymore ;) Sadly, the new model of vivo's - at least this one in particular - doesn't share these qualities.

Positive Aspects: Very comfortable for wide toes, yet still snug enough for workouts and moderate activities. Also, they are very flexible and look stylish. Negative Aspects: The quality is absolute rubbish considering the hefty price for the Primus Light Knit Vivos. Whatever story PR and Branding are trying to sell, someone should start looking into the quality of these products first!! The sole is steadily coming off, already 7 months after using them!! And repair costs of Vivo are nearly 100 EUR!! So, I should spend more than 300 Euros within a year for a shoe that looks nice but doesn't even last a year? If they demand such exorbitant amounts for these shoes, then they should last at least several years! Not just 7 months! Why not sow the sole to the knit area? The glue seems like it's quite cheap. I don’t understand the current trend of firms investing so much in promotion, PR and branding but not actually in product quality and then wonder why they get bad reviews. I'd advise looking for other brands if you want a higher ROI for your money. All the best.
