Works great on flaking
Worked great for my dry flakey skin under the beard where he can't get lotion/cream. Flakes stopped within a few days. Beard texture is smoother and tamed. Smells nice, moisturizes well

May cause allergies
I bought this face wash for my fiancé and he used it one and immediately regretted it. He used this face washed in the shower as he does his regular face wash and within 5 minutes of leaving the shower, he started feeling bad. His eyes were watering, his face felt tight and pinched, with tingling and burning around the eyes and eyebrows for about a day. Aloe and Benadryl helped him feel better but something in this product caused him pretty a pretty bad reaction.I tried a little of it mixed into my regular face wash and I was okay.

Very good at cleansing short beard hairs and facial skin
This is a nice thick gel which does a good job at cleansing my skin and beard hair, which is on the shorter side (about a quarter inch in length). It doesn't really foam up as much as other products I've used, but since this is also portrayed as a shave gel, I think that's probably intentional. It left my hair feeling very clean (actually more so than other dedicated beard shampoo I've tried) and has a very light, herbal - slightly minty fragrance that does not linger. It rinses out easily which makes me think the surfactants in use are very effective and help everything just slide right off. This does moisturize but just not enough for my liking, I still choose to follow the cleansing with some beard oil as my skin is always very dry underneath. The price is decent for the amount of product you get, and you don't need to use a lot each time.

Slightly marketed improperly, but otherwise great!
So to me, this really isn't a shave gel, but rather a beard wash straight up. I suppose you could use it for shaving, but honestly I wouldn't recommend it. You'd be better off with dedicated shaving cream or something like that. However, as a beard wash alone it is awesome! I love the way it lathers, smells, and leaves my face feeling afterwards. If they just changed the marketing of this to being a dedicated beard wash product I think they would have an absolute top tier product on their hands. Overall recommended, but just know that you should probably buy this as a wash and not a shave gel.

Skin soothing
This beard wash has a nice smell. Very minty with a hint of tea tree oil. It works well to soften course hair and make it more manageable. It also leaves you with a nice soothing tingly feel to your skin. I like that the bottle has a pump top so easy to use in the shower. It's also a nice-looking bottle that you can leave setting on a countertop and looks higher end.

Nice Face/Beard Wash
This product comes in a decent size bottle and the product comes out clear. It has a light minty clean smell, but it’s not overpowering and doesn’t linger too long. As a face wash, it leaves your skin really soft and feels refreshed. I had my husband use it on his beard and he said it left it a little dry, but it’s probably because he normally uses conditioner on his beard afterwards. If anything, I would recommend just because of the way it makes your face feel after using it.
