Glass Yard of Ale with Stand 2.5ltr - Yard Glass on Birch Wood Stand

This arrived quickly and well packed so in one piece. The dimensions in the product description seemed small so was a bit worried but box at least 90cm long. Note it holds 2.5 litres which is about 4 pints. Very pleased with product

My son purchased this for an 18th birthday gift. It is a good quality product, and was so well packaged the box it came in could house a small family, but as the product is made of glass this made sense. The stand is essential. It was greatly appreciated by the recipient.

I ordered this for my friends birthday and found that it is not a traditional yard of ale sized glass.A yard of ale is around 2.5 pints where as the glass that I received is more like 4.5 pints.I wasnt particularly bothered because it wasnt me that had to drink it but anyone ordering this item who wants an accurate 'traditional' yard of ale needs to know that this product is not what they are looking for.

My Dad is very pleased with this. The last I saw he was 10 minutes into drinking it, my mother isn't speaking to him and the drinks cabinet is empty.
