So I already have ratchet straps, why in the world would I buy more? I'll tell you why. The normal ones are a pain, that's why. I try to roll them up nice and neat each time, but sometimes I'm in a rush and sometimes they just get loose by themselves (kind of like socks when you wash them). Then when I go to use them they are all tangled. Also, sometimes the straps slide all the way out of the mechanism and I've got to deal with that. The other irritating thing is the hooks coming loose as I'm moving to the other side of the load. With these Rhino straps its just throw them in a bag, good to go. Nothing slips out, simple to use and has a safety clip on the hook. There is a competitor out there with a similar product for a similar price. Rhino is family owned and I liked the looks of theirs way better. I'm just saying, if you need something like this, buy them because you'll be glad from Day 1!

I like them so much better than the original straps you get. Even the wife can use them. No more hassle with the hooks falling off and having extra straps flopping in the wind. They are a bit more expensive but I think they are well worth it. Only have used them twice so can’t say about the longevity but seems to be built with quality in mind. Yes I would definitely recommend them.
