Not worth it
The wood chipped and even a 6 inch mattress didn't help make these bed comfortable.

Nice twin beds for the price - needs more slats
These are decent for the price. They look decently made. The slats are unfinished and not sanded so they do have some potential for splinters so be careful. There are 8 slats and I think it needs more. We will have to get a sheet of plywood or more slats to put down so you can’t feel them as easily. For reference the twin beds we have from IKEA come with 14 slats.

Cute beds but cheap materials
I needed two beds for my boys. I didn't have much to spend and these seemed perfect. One arrived broken, piece of wood was cracked. It didn't seem to affect the structure at all, just decorative, so I just kept it. The slats for the bed are a joke. They don't give you enough for it to be structurally sound. The mattress keeps getting stuck down in between them because there is too much of a gap between them. The slats are thin and weak. One has already broken and we have only had the beds a week. We are going to have to go out and buy stronger pieces of wood to make our own. The beds wobble. It says you can stack them, but honestly, they would break in half if you tried to do that. They are extremely cheaply made. I am so disappointed in this purchase. I realize the price I paid for them was cheap, however, I at least expected my kids to not be at risk of falling through the slats on their matresses while they sleep. Oh, and the piece that was cracked upon atrival...it broke off. Grrrr
