You get what you pay for. Mid price iron from Tefal, noticeably lighter and with shorter cable than my previous more expensive Tefal (which became engulfed in limescale despite the anti calc device). I guess it’s a question of getting used to it. Still recommended.

This iron might be good for an occassional ironig, but not for a mother who needs to run miles on it with kids uniforms and bedsheets. I got it to replace my beloved philips azure as I was tempted with the gliding, energy saving and price. The iron is too light, u need to use effort to push down, it drags fabric, especcily when you go backwards, it also isnt well balanced so when going backwards the front of the iron lifts up causing even more draging of fabric. Cord is an issue as it comes from the bottom and it gets tangled (again- when it goes backwards). It's also too short. A lot of steam comes out, together with water leaving wet stains. The auto shut off didnt really work at all. Performance was poor- I ironed 10 easy care shirts, that were drying on the hangers - and it just did the job on the highest setting, none of that 'crisp finish'. Returned after one ironing.

Very good iron, great quality but all a bit of a trial trying to register it with Tefal. There was a small mark on the plate of the iron and again too much of a faff to return it. The only offer was for a refund and not a replacement and Tefal don’t themselves seem engaged when one has bought this product via Amazon so not sure what’s going on here.

The iron is quite light, easy to use and not complicated to change temperatures, excellent to use and produces very pleasant results!!!

Very good iron, does the job. But, it is impossible to see the level of water in the iron. It is too difficult to see the level, then therefore it tends to over fills and spills
