I’m using these golf tees in my back yard. No, I’m not living off of a golf course. I just have a net up that can catch the balls as I hit them. One advantage to that is when I hook or slice my ball (not that that ever happens!), the net is close enough to catch them before they disappear in the near distance!Seriously, I’m using a golf mat and putting these tees on it to practice my driving and chipping (the only clubs I have at the moment, other than a putter). The various heights of these rubber tees are ideal for use on my golf mat. Another advantage with the mat is that when I hit the mat before I strike the ball, I don’t dig up my yard.My father-in-law made something like this thirty years ago. He loved golf, but the only time he had to play much was in the winter when it was had to put the golf tees into the ground. He used cut pieces of garden hose and lengths of rope instead of these rubber cones, but the principle is the same. I really like how all the different golf tees are tied together with string. This way when the tee gets driven along with the ball the other tees attached quickly bring the set to a stop. Another thing about these tees that I really like is the width of the cup where you set the ball. No longer do I have to go back and pick up the ball and place it once again on the tee after it has just fallen off after I put it there.

These are great, and a great concept and execution, but they seem a little spendy for what you get. A really great idea, though, to be sure.
