Perfect fit, easy install , works great
I’m always making a mess when I change my oil . I do my best to guess the trajectory of the oil but never less I make a spill . This will eliminate the guessing and the spills . No more cleaning up the drive way . Not to mention it comes with extra washers and o rings was a plus. The magnet is incredibly strong as it took me a couple tries to get it where I needed to thread because it immediately clung to the pan I couldn’t believe how strong it was . Threaded in smoothly and I’ve never been so excited for my next oil change to see what’s on the plug. Overall great fit , price, and it definitely beats the quality of the old plug.

O-ring reinforcement is required.
Overall, it's a very good item. However, I wish there was one thing that could be improved. It would be great if the green O-ring on the drain plug that attaches to the oil pan was thicker.

Is works fine, but slow..
Pros: Last four or five oil changes have been completely mess free. Valve opens up as soon as you secure the fastener into place. Make sure the hose is placed in the drain pan. And you’re good to go. Con’s: it took over an hour to completely drain all 5.4 quarts. In the video you can see how slow it drips. This was towards the last quart of oil. p.s. I had the fill cap cracked open for positive vacuum and the oil was very warm. If you look closely in my 3-gal bucket I have marked a line indicating the level 5.4 quarts is. Yeah it took a while. Drip drip drip. . . . I used the opportunity to check the entire car. Replace air filter, check tire pressure, eat lunch, go to the bathroom, take a nap. In the end, yes it works. Would I recommend it? Absolutely not. It’s unrealistic. I’m trying out a different mode - The EZ Oil Drain. I’d rather make a mess and finish an oil change in less 30-minutes, than wait over an hour for it to drip free. Get it if this isn’t an issue in your circumstance. But for me, I have places to go. That’s why it gets a 4 star rating. Yes it works fine. Just takes too long to drain.

Does not work, left oil in the pan at oil change.
Please note this is now several months after the purchase and I did the first oil change last night. Install was not as easy as putting the drain plug in. It took 2 crush washers to not leak. Now the oil change. I took off the cap and screwed in the drain attachment. Oil flowed right away but very slow. I had time to drain and refill my Jeeps rear diff, while this thing was gong slow. It helped a little to pop open the filler and drop the filter. Upon checking the pan, my guess was my oil was about a a quart low, which I know wasn't right, I checked the dipstick and it still registered oil on the tip. At this point I grabbed a wrench and took the whole thing off. Sure enough there was still over a quart in the oil pan. Upon inspecting the valve I can see that it only opens about a mm which is what caused the very slow out flow. Also the assembly is pretty long, so with the slight angle to the drain plug the end must be several mm above the bottom of the pan allowing oil to stay in the pan. This would also allow sediment to stay in the pan. I can see a novice putting this in and not being able to figure out why their oil stays dirty and the vehicle doesn't take the right amount of oil. luckily I have been changing my own oil for years and could tell the pan didn't have enough in it. It is a great idea, but the product doesn't work.

Slow going
I like the concept, the quality, andspare brass washers ir came with. But, if you have endless spare time to change yoyr oil, please by all means get this. Hoeever, my exp. was it drained and such a slow pace, there is no way I can keep this installed. By the time I was able to test the flow rate, it was well outside the return time frame. I really didnt think to test it first to see how fast or slow the quick fitting drains. It is not quick at all. I left it to drain, went had lunch and it was still only at 3 quarts drained of 6. I came back to it over night and it was finally drained. No way one can justify the time it takes to drain over the cleanliness.

Clean oil change!!!!
I was skeptical at first, but this is a game changer! Obviously you change your oil like normal when you first install it, but after that it's clean oil changes. No more waiting for oil to fully drip out with wind blowing oil everywhere! I just plug in the hose and let it drain right into a container. Pro tip, fashion yourself a plug for the end of the hose so when your done the hose does not make a mess of oil remnants. Once every few changes I will pull the plug after it's drained to check the magnet for any metal debris. I put these on both of our families vehicles, never going back!
