Great option for natural fertilizer
Works awesome. There is a smell while it's processing but nothing unbearable. No problems what so ever. Seems to be very efficient.

Excellent way to compost small amounts indoors
It works exactly as described. I fill the bucket with food scraps (cutting up kale stalks, lemon rinds or celery into smaller pieces), and when it's done composting, there's around a cup or two of dried compost. Mine doesn't look like dark earth, but more like brown or golden humus. It has a smell while it's cooking, but that doesn't bother me at all because the container I keep the scraps in (waiting to fill the compost bin) smells far worse! Also my garbage doesn't stink anymore, and in the summer that was always a problem. You can use the composter in your garage or porch if the smell bothers you. The appliance is sturdy, heavy, and well made, simple to use. I've had it for a month and used it at least 5 times a week because I eat a lot of vegetables. I definitely recommend.

Good Way to Shrink Food Scraps
I've put a couple dozen cycles on my unit and really like the results. This unit is fairly compact and does a great job of grinding up food wastes into dust and small particles. The resulting product is about 1/3 of what was loaded. I wouldn't consider it finished compost by any means. Though it is a pretty good start. Only two issues so far. I had to move the unit to my garage because the odor generated was too much for in the kitchen. The carbon filter knocks down odor, but doesn't eliminate it. The other was when I put a bag of rotten grapes in the unit. The contents set up like cement. It took a day of chipping, soaking, and scrubbing to everything out so that I could use the unit again. Overall, the unit is a pretty good value.

I have mulch! I love this machine!!
Living in California, we are encouraged to compost our food scraps rather than throwing them into the garbage and adding to the landfills. But the traditional composting, using an outside bin, with the smell, potential to attracting insects and varmints, and all of the turning was not for me. I wanted something quick and easy!I kept hearing about the Lomi countertop composter on my True Crime podcasts so decided to check it out! But, after checking, I decided the price of the Lomi was way too much! I then started looking at other options and reading all of the reviews. That is when I found the Airthereal Composter! I'm so glad I did!!I ordered the machine on Sunday, knowing it wouldn't arrive until Wednesday. I immediately began saving all of my food scraps in a countertop scrap bin. After reading reviews and tips, I learned that it was important that the mixture be a combination of wet and dry material. I was walking my dog and came upon a pile of dry pine needles and knew this was the perfect dry material! I used my extra poo bags to gather a nice supply! ☺️Finally, my machine arrived on Wednesday! I took some of my saved food scraps and put them in the bucket. I then added some of the pine needles. The bucket is relatively small and only holds a few cups of scraps. It is probably a days worth in our home, which is perfect as I prefer not to keep scraps longer than a day I turned on the machine and was amazed at how quiet it was! You had to listen closely to hear it running. There was absolutely no smell so I can run it on our kitchen counter while watching TV in the adjoining family room.Five hours later, I noticed the machine was off so I opened it and I have mulch!! It only makes about a cup of mulch but I usually have enough food scraps to run it at least once a day. So I will have a constant supply of mulch for my potted plants, and eventually, my flower beds. And best of all, I will no longer be throwing food waste in the garbage!I have attached pictures of the food scraps in the bucket before and after adding the dry needles to give you an idea of the wet/dry mixture I used. I also attached a picture of the machine buttons when I started the machine. The next pictures show the beautiful mulch I created and the bucket after emptying the mulch.Although the manual doesn't give a lot of information, it does list what should and should not be put in the composter. What is really nice is that you receive an extra 6 month extended warranty when you register your machine.I am very happy with my purchase and so will my plants be! It is incredible how easy it makes composting! And as a bonus, it is fun! If you are considering buying a countertop composter and comparing models, I highly recommend the Airthereal Composter! It does exactly what you expect without any noise, smell or mess! Just do it!!

Great while it last it 😔
I absolutely love this, always wanted one and finally I received one for Mother’s Day, I was trilled, used it daily sometimes 2x a day, fruit & veggies scraps/no pits of any kind. 6 weeks of greatness ended with a terrible disappointment of not longer working and the company dragging on and on requesting photos and videos again and again with out once stating the were replacing or any sign of resolution. After a while I realized that they asking over and over for more pictures and more videos didn’t seem to be a way the way must companies I dealt with before take care of issues coming up with their products, specially when they are supposed be under warranty (6 weeks old) if they continue to ask for more and more photos and videos, am I eventually going to receive a video showing me how to fix it myself? Some videos they requested required me to unscrew the bottom part and put it back on again and on and on, showing this angle and then the other and this and that… at this point this thing is still seating on my kitchen counter, useless, I am so upset about it because I researched all others before letting my kids know this was the one (bit less pricey than the others) I feel that maybe the other companies would have replaced the other right away being that I had used it only 6 weeks and was supposed to still be under warranty. Like I said it was excellent when it was working, but a terrible disappointment of a company. I definitely recommend you look for another company that would stand behind their products without dragging the issue on and on without offering any resolution.
