I spent 10 minutes installing this. It took that long because I had to pull out my drill and level, not because it was that hard. I chose to install with the wall anchors, which seem good enough to me, instead of adhesive, so I can't speak to the effectiveness of that option. The holes are large enough that I could use a pencil lead to mark the holes without any issue. The only question mark on this is that, yes, it comes with wooden plugs to put over the screw holes, but they do not sit flush, friction fit, or come with a way to remove them. I'm a bit nervous to figure out how to remove it since I can't fit anything around it, and I can't just tip the block over to spill them out since it's attached to the wall. Maybe a vacuum?Nonetheless, it dresses the kitchen up, holds onto knives tight, and gets the knives out of our drawer. For the price, it's hard to find a better option.

This knife holder is fantastic! I love to cook, so I have a few knives. Keeping them in my drawer or having them in a knife block was just taking up space that I needed for other appliances and tools, however, this knife holder takes care of that problem. Here are my Pros and Cons for this product: Pros- It helps me maximize the small kitchen space I have, letting me focus what's important... Food- The wood finish looks great and helps show off the cooking arsenal- The magnets are pretty strong, so you don't have to worry about the knives falling off and damaging someone or themselves, if you were to bump something into it- The adhesion is strong, and you don't have to drill into the wall and damage it. (I messed up my placement the first time and pulled it off to readjust the strip, and I don't have any problems with staying on the wall.) Cons- The magnets do not keep the knives from turning very well since it can pivot on the one row of magnets- The wood finish could be a little thicker. I have only had this for a little while, and there are already a few scratches/cuts on the surfaceAltogether though, I really enjoy this product. The Price and Quality give it a full 5 stars for me. Hopefully this review can help you figure out if this is the right product for you and your kitchen.

You can never have too many knife holders when you process your own meat on a farm. It looks nice and really holds the knives very securely.

Pros: Gentle on knife edges, unlike the one I replaced that had metal parts. Attractive wood. Easy to put up using the screws (I didn't want it on my fridge, so that wasn't an option). It had a coupon and reasonable price.Con: I put my longest knife on it (Victorinox 8 inch breaking knife (curved blade)) and heard a clatter in the kitchen. It fell off. I store my knives blade down, so the handle should have stopped it. My other knives including a couple sizes of chef's knives hold well. It may be that the magnets are not continuous, so the curved blade meant it did not hold well. Not sure, but my theory. In any case I'm keeping it, and will just store other knives on it. Not a deal breaker, but I'll need other solutions for certain knives.

Bought this because we were hoping to not have to drill into anything. Though we've got some beautiful big smooth tile that was prepared as per instructions beforehand, the suction option did not work at all, it went up OK but was hanging off the wall by morning. Very dangerous for something that holds up the sharpest things in the house.Sadly, this was one of the few options we could find that claimed to be hangable with suction cups, so we just kept it and drilled anyway. Looks pretty good.

We like the appearence and that it holds the knives without slipping. The magnet is the prefect strength, not too strong nor too weak. We like it.

The sticker works great for this. I have marble back drop so it can’t be drilled into the wall. I have 5 knives on it so it’s pretty heavy. Still works perfect no problems 5 months later.

The media could not be loaded. Amazed by the quality, strength and finish of the knife holder. It was easy to install and feels solid on the wall and the knives are held on sturdy, but not crazy.

The natural wood looks fabulous on the stainless steel fridge and I think it will be much kinder to my knives for pulling off and sticking on VS the all metal versions that tend to scratch the knives. I found the internal magnet was not strong enough to provide any 'stick' to the fridge alone so needed the double sided tape to stick it on...however the front magnet to hold the knives is very strong and no fear of knives falling off or sliding down! I had an issue initially with the double sided tape and seller was extremely responsive to help with that! Highly recommend for the both the beauty and versatility of the holder as well as customer support!
