Disclaimer: We have 2 cats currently, but I have had cats (and thus, litter boxes) all my life. This is our story (so far) with our two fixed, female kitties.PROS:-Um, can I say everything? This is SO MUCH better than those yucky mesh ones.-So easy to clean. When I DO clean it and scrub it, I actually feel like it's getting CLEAN, unlike the mesh ones.-Easy to vacuum/sweep for all the inbetween times. A plus in my books because who likes to move the litter box and shake out the mat everrrryyy day? Not this girl.-Truly has cut down on tracked litter around the house. The mesh ones will do this, too, but see above pros as to why I'm convinced this is the better option.-Doesn't move. We have it on tile, and it's the type of rubber that will grip the ground and not slide around or fold once laid flat.CONS:-The most miniscule of all "cons" is that it ships rolled up and takes a day or two to relax into a fully flat position. So just don't get in a hurry and boom, problem solved.We have this mat under our open (no lid, no door) litter box to where it extends around the box (within kitty jumping range). The cats have one way to jump in/out of the box, thus the mat is where all the litter traffic happens. Let me tell you people, this thing is incredible! The amount of litter scatter has reduced dramatically, and is wayyyyy more manageable now.If you are in the market for a litter mat that is:-Easy to clean/can actually get clean-Traps MOST litter (the company would be lying if they said their mat traps all litter, but this one does get the majority, and also, PLACEMENT is so important, too)Then this is the mat for you! We've had it about 4 months now, and it's still going strong. Definitely a fan!

This mat held up great after years of use. It catches litter and if liquid gets on it, it does not soak through.

I’ve purchased this mat before and thought it worked well. It’s easy to clean and I can vacuum litter that falls into the round indents with a small hand vac. One drawback is my old mat eventually got torn up by my cat’s claws. But it took a good while before needing to replace it. I’d recommend this mat, for sure. The mat I received was not new, however. I returned it for a replacement.

My cat tends to be extremely messy when she uses the restroom. While she is only about 9 years old, she tends to jump in and out of her litter box. This then causes litter to be launched all over the room, which is a hassle. I looked at pet stores for litter mats that were similar to this, but they either weren't big enough or were extremely over priced.I found this one and bought it. When it arrived, I was extremely happy! It was bigger than I thought and was able to fit under both litter boxes and extend out a few inches. It works to collect the litter that she flings everywhere and is extremely easy to clean. Definitely a great buy and I would recommend it to anyone!

I have had these mats for several years now and love them. They catch litter far better than other mats I have tried (but at the end of the day, no mat is going to catch ALL the litter that tracks out). I had to buy multiple to fit both my litter boxes, but I really love how these don’t leave that sticky residue on the ground as I’ve experienced with the more traditional mats. I use a handheld vacuum cleaner to suck up excess litter every other day or so and it keeps the area looking nice!

I first and only litter mat I have found that actually does it's job. It is soft with a slightly tacky surface and grabs all the litter from kitty's feet.

Perfect for trapping litter from the litter boxes. Comes in different sizes. Easily roll up and dump the trapped litter into the garbage. Easy to wash, just spray it down with a garden hose and let it dry. Great product!

We have several cats in our home, and I find this to be one of the perfect mats to lay out underneath a litter box to catch everything that comes out from it. The rubber construction makes clean up a breeze, and it'll save you some litter over the life span of your cats. However, while these mats are perfect at catching litter inside of them, the not so great part is that they'll catch up urine, and feces really good too if you have a cat thats older, and can't make it into the litter boxes like normal. If you catch the mess soon enough it's not a problem to simply take the mat outside, and wash with a hose for a quick clean up. Yet, if you don't check out your Pet's mess quick enough, scrubbing inside of those little rubber holes can be quite tedious.We also had one cat who would refuse to go inside of the litter boxes, and instead would constantly go to the bathroom right outside on top of the pads to establish their scent, and dominance over the other cats we had. So if your Pet's are well potty trained, and you don't think that will be an issue these mats are great at protecting carpeted flooring, or wood flooring for that matter. Over time though the rubber will start to degrade, so be prepared to see some cracking maybe in a year or so. I would recommend these mats over any other ones simply because the pocketed holes do a great job at catching the litter the cats manage to shift out of the box, and they did protect our carpets at least from the other cats who would use them as their own bathroom, so they are very good at being leak proof too!
