A must have if you get sick!
This tea along with manuka honey are a life saver when you’re sick. The directions on the box make the tea taste awful and bitter. I’ve found steeping for 2-3 minutes with 2-3 bags at 190f for 12-16oz is perfect and adding a tablespoon on manuka honey makes a great tasting tea that soothes the most painful throats. The medical benefits are incredible for relieving pain instantly.

Works well for my throat!
This tastes great and soothes my throat. It is strong enough, but not too strong. The only thing is I wish they had more per bag, so I had to buy more.

Saves a wrecked throat
Sadly, part of my job involves a great deal of talking. This throat coat tea is a must! I sip on it throughout the day . I ran out and went a few days without it and just sipped water and another tea. By the end of the day my throat was wrecked. I ordered the 96 bags. I cannot function without this tea. It is also nice room temp or chilled. The best quality throat coat tea on the market, in my opinion.

LOVE THIS BUT THEY DID A STORY ON THE TV NEWS ABOUT MICROPLASTICS AND SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED TEABAGS
I LOVE THIS TEA!!! BUT...I am really concerned. I was not a tea drinker until about 4 years ago after trying this. A drink that was sweet without calories or sugar substitutes-amazing!!! I drink about 4 cups a day. But now with all the talk of micro-plastics, I'm concerned. Very concerned. On the news they specifically mentioned TEA BAGS! I asked "Rufus"? (the robot that answers Amazon questions) about the product and he said the teabags are made of paper and don't have that much plastic. But it still bothers me. If I drank this here and there I wouldn't care but I drink a lot of this tea-I also just leave the tea bag in my cup the whole time. I have it just sitting there while I'm doing my hobby or watch TV or whatever. I usually make a cup of tea and cover the cup to keep it hot and let it sit there with the bag in it so it will be as strong as possible and cool down while I finish the cup I am currently drinking. I never take the teabag out.Do any of you put the tea that's in the bag into one of those metal tea things? I hate the thought! I am too lazy to do it 4 or more times per day. It seems like it would be such a PITA and how do I know that the tea itself is not full of microplastics already from just sitting in the teabag in the box for however long it's been there?I really don't know anything about tea. I just know that I like this and have become addicted to it. Does anyone have any thoughts on the microplastic situation? I wish this was sold loose or the company would come out with some special tea bag that was 100% free of plastics. Does anybody know anything about the safety of this tea? I am sick and tired of all the crap they do to our food and medicine. I never used to think about it but it's gotten really bad. You can't eat or drink anything without it being altered in someway.

Great deal on a great product
Received Dec 2023 and expiration date on label is September 2026. I imagine this 6-pack will last me a year, year and a half. Actually I don't believe the ingredients lose their good effects. Might lose some aroma, but actually I don't think the main ingredient has much of an aroma - though YMMV.Anyway, I've been drinking this for years, definitely good for sore throats, actually good any time because it just tastes good. Does not absolutely need sweetener but you can use a little. If you are used to sweetening black tea (I mean the typical caffeinated kind), don't use that much sugar or sweetener - it will come out way too sweet. Because the ingredients in the tea bag already have some sweetness. I think it might be the slippery elm bark in there.Anyway, so this works out to around 20 cents a tea bag - still more than I'd really like to spend but way less than any other deal I've seen. Might try making my own using similar loose ingredients someday.
