Like many people, I read a lot of reviews for self-leveling laser levels before deciding on Huepar, ultimately making my decision based on the excellent reviews and great price. I am so happy with this decision! This Huepar laser level seems solid - good quality build and quality materials. I love that it comes with a hard case with foam insert to keep the laser level protected. A day after the laser level arrived, I put it to the test for marking ceiling locations for installing rows of led lights. This laser level gave me perfect lines on the ceiling so I could mark the locations for the light installations. The unit is very easy to operate - it took 2-3 minutes to read the manual, and then it was easy to use. I love that it can be used with the provided Lithium Ion battery, the AA batteries, or plugged in. I love that it has 3 planes of highly visible green laser light. I'm now thinking of all the ways that I can use this in my life of DIY projects, and I can't wait to use it again for the next project! Very well built for what I needed. Worked great for building a pole barn and 60'X8' elevated deck. Laser is bright and can be easily seen for over 100'.

The Laser has been great for remodeling projects as a home owner. After months of ownership I had an issue where the Top Laser didn’t work after a modest drop. Customer Service was prompt to respond and send a replacement.

So far this has been excellent for indoor work, and acceptable with the optional (extra cost) detector for outdoor. In the intense sunshine here, the lines are not visible beyond a few feet, but the detector picks them up just fine in the distances that I've tried - perhaps up to 30 or 40 ft. The controls are simple and obvious. The case is "OK" - it fits the main unit, battery, charger, and it fits the detector, but not the tripod mount. This is a bummer, since for many purposes (well, the things I want to do ...) a tripod mount is essential. It wouldn't take much to have the tripod mount also fit, but as is you (me) will need to keep track of another piece and try not to lose it between uses. My impression is that this isn't sturdy enough for serious professional use, but the price, performance, and quality are great for a DIY or pro that very occasionally needs a laser level. Overall, I'm very happy with this and would recommend it to a friend. I think very good value.

Ordered awhile ago in advance for a project further down the line. When I recieved it, I tested it, and it did what it said it would do. But finally, just cracked it open to put it to the test. Using it for floor joists and to lay some floor. Found some other uses as well now that I really got to play with it. It exceeds my expectations. The laser is very accurate. Its very bright, easy to see. The battery keeps a charge practically all day. And the case is very nice, tight, and keeps it very safe. It's definitely NOT cheaply made. It's heavy, solid, and tough. One of the best tools I own now. If your on the fence about buying it, don't be. It's very worth it. It even competes with some of the others in Home Depot and Lowes for around $500. And the quality is not as good as the Huepar.

UPDATE: I had to ask them when the laser would ship out, Erich they said they would let me know when the logistics team gets it sent out. 3 days later no info, so I had to email them again and ask, which they gave me the info. Says it'll be here on the 11th of December, much slower of a shipping time then the original laser. I'll definitely not be getting Huepar products again strictly because of their customer service. Will update review depending on how this laser works when I recurve it. Huepar chat on website doesn't respond, they email you instead at midnight and 4am and takes 12+hrs to respond to emails. I opened the box took out the laser plugged in battery, and it worked for a second then died. Contacted customer service by chat got an email hours later stating I needed to send then a video of what was happening. Sent them a video of the battery being plugged in with usb c into the laser and turning it on(which even with a dead battery that should've made it turn on.) Send them a video of how it says in the manual to turn it on. Then I had to send them proof with a multimeter that the battery was good, otherwise they were going to make me wait for a battery to come in. So the final video is this. As a consumer I should not have to go through such great lengths to prove that their product doesn't work. That is their job, not mine. Hopefully with inconveniences they've given me with having to show all this proof before getting a new one they'll at the very least give me an upgraded product if not money on top of that. Any company I've dealt with on Amazon has been more than willing to send me a product if I'm having issues with the one I purchased without me having to send all this proof. They could also put an indicator light on the battery to let you know if the battery is bad, to avoid using a multimeter.......
