Stompa S Flex Airflow Pocket Sprung Mattress Single 90x190cm

Unfortunately this mattress will likely be going to the dump as Amazon have been of no help and it’s not fit for purpose. Also tried to contact Stompa directly but as I am in ireland was told they can’t do anything for me. When we unrolled the mattress there was a strong smell which I expected (this usually goes away within 24-48 hrs). We’re 3 weeks in, the mattress smells so badly and we cannot even have it in my child’s room. It is currently propped up on the landing as we have nowhere to store it and my child has no mattress for his Bunkbed which is a huge dissappointment as his cousins were planning to sleepover over Christmas. It’s a combination of a chemical/very musty smell. Apparently there’s no health risk according to Stompa 🙄 but who wants to sleep on a stinking mattress. I would have been happy to receive a replacement but have been told I have to send the original one back at my own expense(why when it’s defective should I have to pay) and also how do you even try and get a fully inflated single mattress back in its box. It seems we are now out over £200 I had expected better from both Amazon and stompa

Amazing matress. For our children but we would very happily steal their beds now! Comfy, firm bit with give and flex. Perfect!

It’s not worth the money. The quality is very poor—it’s an extremely soft mattress, which is not suitable for kids at all. Very disappointing.

The mattress seems comfortable but smells of damp even 4 days after opening. You can smell the damp in the tow adjacent rooms even. Not what I was expecting and I am certain it cannot be good for our Childs health. I hp that someone picks the sup and resolves the issue!
