Fantastic watch! It Looks great and I love it more than expected!

I had cheap watches growing up. Then for many years watches were not my thing. Then I got an Apple Watch. Then multiple high end Apple Watches. Now I want to distance from the constant buzzing and notifications and constant connection to social media. I Want to be free from technology again. I decided that I want a Swiss automatic watch that wouldn’t be too flashy and not cheap like a Swatch. After a very long time of looking at watches I found this, and knew it was the one. When I opened the package and saw it in person - it was perfect. Just what I was looking for. The craftsmanship is amazing. But it’s not bling and flashy. I didn’t want a huge watch. This fits my wrist perfectly. I wanted something that I know is quality but others seeing it wouldn’t notice. A “sleeper” if you would. Watches are subjective like all art. That being said, for me, this watch is perfect. One other nice thing about a Swiss watch is that it retains its value. Almost like a slab of gold except it tells the time. I’ve paid well over $1k for a ceramic Apple Watch just to trade it in for the value of a used aluminum one a few months later. Update: after wearing it a few weeks I still love it and wouldn’t switch for another however the onion style adjusting knob on the side tends to snag and pull out occasionally - so that the time gets way off on occasion. The idea of the onion style was to imitate the original Model 23 however you have to resign yourself that maybe not always the watch will tell the correct time.

I bought this watch recently and can’t stop looking at it. An exceptionally well designed Swiss Made watch at a remarkably good price.

Anyone who has looked at the YouTube reviews when they came out in 2021 knows all of the early reviews talk about an odd number if bezel clicks... THESE NEW ONES MADE HAVE THE CORRECT 60 CLICKS (I do wish it was 120 clicks). This is not the nicest rotating bezel... but this isn't some omega dive watch... and the function is nice. The leather band it comes with is probably the most comfortable factory leather band Hamilton has come out with. I do wish the lug width was 20mm instead of 18mm... but I believe this is designed to be unisex in style. I changed out my watch band only because I like quick deployant bands. My wrists are about 6 ¾ inches. If your have wrists over size 7, I recommend the larger version with the small second dial... or getting an after market band.

Nice watch as a gift, left in the mailbox when the order states it is to be signed for. The watch itself looks nice albeit the hands are not centered properly and are off the numerals. Over thirty days and it's losing significant time.
