Tastes great!
This tastes good and doesn't give me the jitters! I like the dry scoop method instead of trying to chug a ton of liquid energy right before I work out

Taste like medicine
This product literally tastes like cough medicine. There were small grains floating at the bottom of my bottle & I assumed it was the fancy healthy sugar. Now from tasting it, i have no clue. It’s like a chemically fake taste with that off brand cough medicine taste. Also read the fine print. I paid that much for that little, spend the extra five to get quality with your value.

Intense and very sour taste if taken according to instructions
This works the same as the stir and drink version. The flavor is extremely sour when taken according to instructions. I have found myself pouring it shallow in a glass to down it faster. This is my first time taking dry scoop. I will probably go back to the original formula.

Good, For What It Is
I've never done dry-scooping before, but could not imagine that a traditional preworkout powder is very pleasant to ingest in that way. I was interested to see what a preworkout that's specifically designed to be dry-scooped would be like. This product tastes fairly good as a dry scoop, but I think I enjoy it a bit more when used as a regular powder mix, in combination with a strawberry watermelon flavored liquid water flavoring. There's not a tremendous amount of any one ingredient in this product, so I don't think you're likely to suffer the ill effects of beta-alanine, for example. Conversely, if you're less sensitive to caffeine, there's not a lot of it in here, at least compared to other brands. I seem to see some benefit from using this preworkout, but obviously not to the same degree as others that contain sometimes double the amount of certain effective ingredients, compared to what's present here. I think you can get a strong effect from Citrulline at between 3 and 6 grams. Beta-Alanine seems to most often be dosed at 3.2 grams. Caffeine can be different for everyone, but I tend to gain benefit from 200+ mg. Nonetheless, this product isn't so overburdened with ingredients that it would detract from the flavor when consumed as a dry scoop, which is arguably a delivery method where any abnormalities in the flavor would stand out the most. If a single serving works for you, then the price at time of writing is on par with competing products. It feels unusual to receive half of the servings I'm accustomed to, but it's also half of the price.

Cough and hack your way to a better you!
I mean... maybe not really. But dry scooping is an art and I am clearly at the finger painting stage. As suggested I put a little bit of water in my mouth then added the scoop. Then I coughed a lot. The next time I just cheated and mixed the powder into a very small cup of water to make it a sludge. So take my review with a grain of salt. The flavor is indeed sour and suggestive of berry. Not unpleasant by any means. The powder is not as fine as powdered sugar but not as course as granulated. You can definitely taste all the energy additives though. Astringent... I guess... would be the word? My wife, who is tiny, noticed a significant boost to her energy during her run. She said it was like suddenly getting a gas pedal pushed down and she was revitalized. I, being a big ol' boy, notices exactly nothing in terms of new energy but I might not have felt quite as tired? So you literal mileage may vary. I will say it was weird opening the canister and finding it already half empty. It was weird since they could either fill it the rest of the way and charge a bit more or else use a smaller container and save on packaging and shipping over the long term. I was prepared for it to not be brimming but only being half full seems just weird. Mine, however, might be a one off. I'd need to read other reviews to see if I am alone or not. But its the main reason for the 3 stars under "value for money." So if dry scooping is your thing and you want some extra work out energy I think this is a good option. I'll be mixing mine with water personally but to each their own.

Delicious and effective!!!!
This is an amazing and very effective pre! I am a faithful alani nu pre person but the fact that this is affordable, delicious, quick, and effective, I'll be buying this when I need more. They have many other great flavors and products also I plan to venture into. I take my pre 30 minutes prior to my workouts, and I was ready in less than 20! It gives a great boost and it definitely adds clarity! Helped tremendously with drive and focus as well. Some aren't very tasty, but I do enjoy the flavor of this! I don't dry though I add it to a very small amount of water! 100/10 for price, taste, effectiveness! Very happy with it and now I want to try some of their other products. Will add, read the ounces! This is a small cannister but still entirely worth it.

Good taste - caffeine boost
This pre-workout is mostly a caffeine boost with some added boost from vitamin B12. I was trying to compare it with another name-brand pre-workout mix and although there are some overlapping ingredients, this one tends to have less of each and does not have any creatine. The 155mg of caffeine comes from tea. There is an artificial aftertaste which is common with stuff that is sweetened with stevia, even though it is a natural sweetener, but overall not a bad flavor. This small jar only holds 15 servings. It is a nice size to fit into a gym bag but really is not a whole lot of pre-workout. The suggested way to take it is by adding a scoop directly into your mouth, which has a bit of water in it already, then chasing it with more water. OK... saves on washing out a shaker bottle but I am not a big fan of dropping that much powder into my mouth since the scoop is your average pre-workout-sized scoop. Overall, it gives you a caffeine jolt before your workouts, which is it's intended purpose.
