great first board game for over 3's
This was sent from america though ordered on the english amazon site, adn took around 2 weeks to arrive. It's a great boardgame for age 3 up to around age 8, with simple rules similar to snakes and ladders ,and easy understanding of ways to move forwards and back. The candland graphics appeal to all children. Will encourage colour recognition and simple counting for very young children, and is therefore the ideal first boardgame for 3 year olds.

Great introduction for kids to board games
This is a GREAT game to introduce younger kids to board games. I think 3 is a good age to start. The older kids make up some of their own rules to add variation.

my four year old loves this game and its the most requested board game in our house, it is very easy to play and doesnt take too long so it doesnt get boring

I like it for the simple, yet fun and colorful style! Appealing to very young kids(3-4). Also can be creatively combined with actual(physical) sweet rewards as players reach important milestones along their journey, for guaranteed satisfaction!
