The multiple options creates a perfect fit with ease to install just make sure you don't over tighten like I did and get stuck with an upside down 8. Contrary to my mistake the quality, look, feel, and functionality is phenomenal. No tarnishing, chips, cracks, it's perfect and adds a nice touch to any vehicle.

I love the cheesy look of the 8ball gear shift, and this one looks nice. Don’t wrench on it though, I did break the insert and ended up having to super glue it back into the 8ball for it to stay. Then I used a locking nut to make sure I could screw the handle on tight (and straight) without breaking the insert again by popping through the base. I wasn’t expecting such an easy break, but it was an easy fix though.

I only received the gear shift ball, which is made of a hard plastic, and did not get any adapters that were said to come with it. The ball will not fit my manual transmission vehicle, a 2019 Kia Soul, by itself.

It’s cool enough and good quality, but it bugs me that when it threads on and hits bottom, you can’t rotate the 8 where it is perfectly facing the rear of the car so that you are seeing it at a 90 degree angle. Mine stopped threading to where it is facing the 10:00 position and my OCD ;-) is bothered by it. I’m too cheap to switch it out so I just live with it. Would be better if it had a side screw that allowed you to tighten it once you line up the 8 correctly.
