Great bit of kit, picked up a small gas leak in my motorhome, even detects flatulence!

Ideal my sons a gaz engineer who fits boilers and does pipe work to checks for any leaks an has all the expensive gear that checks that there is a leak and he has something to detect it but this is small enough for him to find the leaks quicker instead of using the big boys ideal thanks

The tester appears to work ok I think. It certainly detects propane gases. So far though it has only detected gases that i can smell. I have not found a leak of gas yet.

Great item, very handy to have laying around. Gives you great peace of mind knowing you cannot always trust your nose. In my opinion the buttons are slightly chunky and the plastic does feel like it could break if it fell on the floor from head height but overall the quality is reasonable and for safety concerns its well worth the investment.

Ich habe ein ähnliches Gerät bei einem Nachbarn auf dem Campingplatz gesehen. Da ich einen Gasverlust vermutete, habe ich mir auch so ein Gerät gekauft. Der Test mit dem Feuerzeuggas verlief erfolgreich, an meiner Gasanlage musste ich einen Schlauch auswechseln. Ich kann das Gerät sehr empfehlen.

Petit stylo très pratique et surtout, fonctionnel. Il m'a permis de détecter une fuite à ma gazière, qui venait des boutons! Depuis, je l'utilise dès que j'ai un doute. Il est petit, facile à ranger, livré avec un petit étui pour le protéger. Facile d'utilisation. Je recommande.

I used this to isolate a propane leak on my RV. I loaned it to my in law to sniff out a gas leak on his furnace. It worked great on both. Problem solved easily. It's loud enough and has the lights that increase as the leak gets closer. Easy to use and well worth the cost.

This thing works great for the home DIY person or to have around to check for gas leaks. I was extremely impressed with how well it works for the low cost. I have used it primarily for checking connections with my BBQ and fire pit connections, but it can also be a good tool if you think you have a gas leak and want to verify before calling the gas company.
