I am a 100% beginner with Bonsai and as such, do not pretend to be an authority on wire and its quality but I do like this wire very much.The product description clearly notes that each roll is 100g as well as the approximate length, which appears the be accurate. The best part of this deal is that there is a variety of sizes to choose from. Since I am new at wiring, I was not sure of what sizes would be best for what branches and in what situations. Now I have every increment of the typical sizes to visualize and experiment with, never again wondering if I might be better served by a 2.5mm rather than a 2.0mm. Another reviewer indicated that the amounts were too small. I do not agree with this at all. The smaller wire sizes have more length than I can see myself using for years to come. The thicker wire obviously has a shorter length but it is more than enough for my couple of trees and now I know which of the thicker wire to order a specific 250g roll of next time. In my opinion, this is what this pack was intended to do, give you usable lengths of a variety of wire to choose from and an idea of what you need most in the future.It is easy to work with and looks very attractive on my trees. The copper color is superficial and so when the end is cut, you can see the aluminium core, but it's hardly noticable unless your looking for it. Since i'm a beginner, I noticed that the coating can rub off a little if you rub it excessively while wrapping, unwrapping and adjusting its placement. But again, this is very minimal and barely noticeable, but i'm sure an experienced wrapper will never have this issue.As a side note, each roll is individually wrapped in cellophane and then placed in a labeled two tone plastic pouch so that you can keep them safe, organized and separate.

The product is good for beginners to work with for practice and to have an idea on different wire sizes. The wire roles I received in the mail weren't as thick as the picture shows (more like 1/4th to 1/5th the size shown). the actual thickness of each roles I received was about the size of my finger rolled up in a 7" diameter round. The price average is $5+ per role with this deal. I pay $5 for each role almost the size of my wrist rolled up in a 10" diameter round from my bonsai instructor. I don't dislike the deal because it serves its purpose on the different sizes you can experiment with. But the quantity for the price can be improved. If you are an experience bonsai artist and have more than a few trees or if you want to work on larger bonsai trees, this deal will disappoint you. I rate it 3 stars because I think it's okay for beginners who has limited connections to resources and information to try their own experiments.

Had to order a package containing several wires that were too small (1 and 1.5 mm) to get the size I needed (3.5 and 4 mm). Overall satisfied with the wires and can use the smaller wires when starting new plant projects.

A great way to get into bonsai, it has the majority of what you need besides really thick wire for large bonsai

Wire seems to be a quality product,. going to try my hand at bonsai, ill see how it goes.

Great starter selection of 7, they are packaged by weight so the heavy gauges of wire are shorter -a heads up, but still looks like plenty of wire, & to get a feel for sizes.
