Unfortunately, the weather caught me off guard. I was traveling across the country on a long stretch of highway. When clouds gathered there was nowhere safe to pullover and suit up. My boots got a little wet, but once I put these on, I didn't take on any more water and my feet felt a little warmer. They serve their purpose well, as long as you put them on. The soles seem a little flimsy but they aren't intended to be used for walking around.

5 stars because the item arrived in brand new condition, was packaged well (both shipping & retail), & arrived in a timely manner.I bought the XXL size to cover my Large size medical boot. Amazon’s Ai (Rufus?) quoted 1 review that said this item worked well for them & was able to cover their boot, but that review lacked specifics such as the size of their medical boot and the size of the boot cover they purchased from this company. I ordered the XXL as a precaution, but sadly it was far too small for what I needed. I want to stress I have no complaints against this brand/company/vendor. I bought these to go over my shoes while on a motorcycle trip. They worked great for keeping water off my shoes and legs. They were relatively easy to get on and off. They have a "plastic" feel and quality to them is the reason for the 4 stars - they feel like they will rip, so time will tell as far as the durability. They pack super easy and don't take up a lot of space which is great for motorcycle travels. When worn for a longer period of time, I did find that my feet and legs would get hot and start to sweat. But overall, they served me well in the rain on a motorcycle.

Got these for sturgis & they are perfect. I wear a men’s 12 & my husband wears a men’s 14 & the XXL worked for both of us.

Bought 2 set due to how great and easy they are to use when raining. Way better than water boots when directing traffic

After several wears, one boot leaked when I walked through water a few inches deep. One boot completely filled with water. I recommend testing them for leaks before taking them on a trip.
