I wanted a sketch workbook that would help me improve my drawing skills. This is the perfect book for me. I'll be ordering another one for my husband as well.

I have a few books on drawing and sketching but, this one is very easy to follow and builds your skills a step at a time. I highly recommend this as a great starting point.

I love this book. I bought it as a gift, but it arrived with a bent cover corner. I looked through the book and decided to use it myself and order another for the gift. I've enjoyed doing the first several exercises in the book and my second copy is on its way.

Great book with clear instructions

I don't think there is any one book which will turn you into an instant artist. You have to sketch, sketch, sketch, and keep on sketching. Classes help as well. I do like a lot of the images in this book which I have tried to duplicate and this is giving me ideas on how to draw the things I see in my daily life. 4-stars is a good rating ... I don't think there is a 5-star book out there.
