Bought this fridge during the sale , got a good price for the product. Fridge is huge and got a lot of space with huge rackes. Door alarm if we leave it open for too long . Door close smoothly. Cooling mechanism is too good and dispenser with ice crusher is also 👌 Valur for money.

It’s my first side-by-side refrigerator. Bought it to fulfil my mom’s dream to have it. I felt my money was well invested when I saw a 700 litres happiness on her face. :)) Coming to the pros and cons of refrigerator: Pros: - Size. The size of this fridge is big enough to make your kitchen look good and elegant. Not excessively huge though, so that’s a plus point. - Brand. If you want a side by side fridge in cheap price, you might get it under 45k, but I personally don’t trust those new brands as when it comes investing in fridge or AC, I believe you must go for well known brands as we look for atleast 10 to 15 years of durability. This is Samsung, no further comments. - Spacious. It got lot of space to store all the daily needs for a big family of 6 to 8 people. It has a whole left compartment as a freezer where you can set your own desired temperature between -15 degree to -23 degree (depending on the season). Deep freeze your quarterly needs like meat and few veggies. - The main compartment is also good, enough to store veggies and other supplement required for another week. Temperature can be changed between 1 degree to 7 degree. Cons: - Looking at the amount you are paying, it should atleast have a water dispenser on the front. That’s really eye catching nowadays. - I did not see any egg tray or compartment to store eggs.. 😂. This point is really funny as even after paying almost 70k, you won’t get to store your eggs in it. - An Option to convert freezer into normal fridge mode would have been great. They gave us to set temperature for both side so why not give this option in case you have a lot of veggies and dairy product to store? It would have been more convenient. That’s my complete review guys. Hope this review was helpful. P.s. I got it in 64.5K after all discount and cashback as introductory offer. Good price though not too good.

I purchased this Fridge at the end of Sept 2019, with an exchange for my old LG 581L side-by-side fridge which was 10yrs old and in working condition. I waited for a month to review it, to see how it works. The new Samsung fridge was delivered promptly in a few days. Our flat in on the 4th floor and the unit was too huge to fit in our lift. The 4 delivery boys huffed and puffed and pushed for about 45mins on the stairs and brought it up. Good that Amazon gives the “Open box inspection” facility. We were so disappointed to see the top of the fridge was bent and twisted. We immediately instructed the delivery people to take it back and that we want a replacement. They agreed and took back the fridge. We then called the Amazon customer service and they were also kind enough to listen to the issue and agreed to send a replacement. We got the replacement fridge in about 10days and this time the delivery boys came with the 3-wheel trolley. Transporting it to the 4th floor was a breeze and it got done in 10mins. The new piece was intact with no damages. We plugged it in ourselves and started using the Fridge immediately. Its easy to install and instructions for temperature setting and other info are mentioned in detail in the booklet. The technician came in a few days. It’s been a month now, and the fridge is great. It has ample space to store things. The only downside is that it doesn’t have a tray for dairy items. Its noiseless. The best part is the efficiency and low power consumption. Our monthly electricity bills used to be about Rs.1500-Rs.1700/- and we knew that such high bills could be due to our huge side-by-side fridge. This month (Nov 2019) we were so shocked and happy to find our bill was only Rs.700/-. The technician had mentioned that this Samsung unit takes about 1 unit/day. Overall, we are very happy with the price and Amazon service and the Quality and efficiency of Samsung. If you would like to have a large side-by-side fridge, this one is a great option.

Very good product

Learnt that I am not the only one, after reading a lot all the negative reviews about the unpredictable failure of this product. I purchased this Samsung 700 L Inverter Frost Free Side-by-Side Refrigerator (RS72R5001M9TL) refrigerator on 6th May 2022 from Amazon. This product was delivered and installed on the 9th May 2022. Within 3 weeks we observed some erratic behavior with respect to cooling. Sometimes it used to take more than 8 hours for ice formation in the freezer section. The cooling performance slowly started degrading. Till finally on the 24th June 2022 there was no cooling in both fridge and the freezer sections. Logged a complaint with Samsung customer care on the 24th June 2022 itself. Engineer visited on 25th June 2022 and suspected gas leakage in compressor and told that another team will visit for checking leakage and filling gas. No one came that day. Day wasted. On 26th June 2022, another engineer visited and told that there was no visible leakage near the compressor, and he suspects the leakage in the condensing coil. Although he was not very sure of the same. He said they will order the part and left without doing anything. Got a call from service center later and was informed that it will take 10 to 15 days for the part to be available. How can we live without the fridge for so many days? Was not willing to allow Samsung team to experiment on this defective product. Samsung claimed trouble free operation for this product for more than 10 years in their website. How can a premium product like this go bad within 4 weeks? Also, am not sure if they have correctly identified the problem. Had contacted Samsung CEO email team and requested for replacement. Every 24 hours they would call me once, only to say that they are working on this case. They are not making any decision and forcing me to get this repaired under warranty for now. It's been more than 10 days without a fridge at home and we had to throw most of the food we had in this. Including some expensive food items. They write "Customer Experience" Team but are least bothered about the trouble/stress their customers face in such situations.

Take care of the internal packing. One freezer tray came out in shipping and made small damage to the body. But I didn't return. One company video on the unpacking and installation would be helpful. Even the installation team is not fully aware of all functions. It's a big fridge. Wine rack should have been included.
