1/2" Garden BIB TAP Water Lever Type Valve RED Handle + Garden Hose Plug

I've installed a few taps like these on mine and family members' water butts or for outdoor taps and they work a treat, its so much easier to turn these on and off while wearing gloves or with muddy hands thanks to the lever compared to older style taps.Yes the colour of the PVC cover fades after a couple of years but that's doesn't affect the operation of the tap at all, I've had one survive several winters outside with no problems at all.The fact they're the same price, if not cheaper than the rubbish plastic water butt taps is brilliant.If you find this review helpful please hit the button below.

Easy to fit, great design. No leaks (yet) and the handle makes turning on and off a breeze. I would suggest making sure you measure the space if it's in a tight spot or if like me you have a run of taps. This never occurred to keep, lucky for me it fitted.

Does what it says on the tin. Not used it much, but has lasted over the winter. As some others have noted, the top nut does go rusty, but this didn't bother me too much.

Had this 3 years now, in an outdoors situation. Works as well as it did on day one, the 1/4 turn lever operation is so much better than a conventional tap. Although the lever and screw are now pretty rusty, they are still robust and its just cosmetic which doesnt bother me at all, and the tap itself is fine. Will definitely never buy a conventional outside tap again, this is the one to go for.

This tap is an ok item but not the best for quality, had to superglue the nut on top as kept undoing when turning tap on and off,the action of a lever tap is so much easier as I have hand problems,all in all for the money not bad

All metal, sturdy replacement for a old plastic water butt tap.

I bought this item to replace a conventional outside tap that had become very stiff and difficult to use. This tap is simplicity itself to use and not difficult to install. It might be worth buying compression fittings at the same time. The tap is very good quality with a decent thread but it might be worth getting some PTFE tape to line it up.
