I have only completed one game and I won that easily on a lower level
Hmm. It's different. That's for sure. I have only completed one game and I won that easily on a lower level, but for most of the time, I had absolutely no idea what I was actually doing. I am used to exploring, building up an army and battering everyone else into oblivion to win a game or at least a time victory. In this game, I never attacked anyone, except for the odd barbarian, and was so far ahead in my research that I ended up winning the space race. By then, I was praying for it to end as I was getting so bored. I think my issues are that I am so used to the natural progression from Civs 1 to 4 (I missed 3 somehow?) that I expected to just play exactly the same way and easily understand it, but that isn't the case. If I want to fully understand this game, I am going to have to do some research of my own and I am a lazy git so I'm not sure I want to do that. Graphics are better than ever but I enjoyed playing Civ 4 more than I did my first game of Civ 5. Time and practice will hopefully improve my experience with this game, if I EVER finish the first level of Cities Skyline, that is. (It DOES finish at some point, right?)

Great game - holds me captive for too long, though! Not overly complex and good fun to play.
