Excellent rich coffee
I find the 12-cup size pot easy to clean with a soft bottle brush. The center tube can be loosened when excessive force is applied during cleaning. I loosened the center tube on a 9-cup model while using a too-stiff bottle brush. The filter basket and bottom reservoir need only light cleaning.Whether using high or moderate heat, remove the percolator from the heat when the center tube stops gurgling - you will learn that when the sound stops, all water has been ejected from the bottom reservoir.
