As good as a Dremel?
Wasn't sure whether a Dremel would be useful or not. Dremel brand seems very expensive if your not sure but didn't want to buy cheap either. This Depstech brand looked a good compromise on price and looked even better in a sale even though I had never heard of them. Used for a month now mainly for use with building Radio Controlled Model Aeroplanes for cutting steel/piano wire/brass and doing some hardwood sanding and shaping. It has performed excellently and the flexi drive that comes with it has been very useful. It feels good quality and the motor runs very smoothly. It hard to see how a Dremel would be better and you get useful tools and case to come with it.

Good value.
So far, so good. Reasonable amount of power, and flexible extension very useful. Good value for money. Would recommend as a reliable tool.

why pay more for a Dremmel when this does what it says on the tin
Handy Sturdy case with well organised fittings, the only down point for me personally is even on setting 1 the speed is quite high for delicate things involving plastic models

Depstech rotary tool.
Good little tool. Not used it properly yet though as I've only just got it. Good speed range and easy to change the tools.

This is better than the machine I replaced.
The take up speed and increased ratio was smooth in it's changes. The assorted attachments were basic but good quality and a good start for expansion. This model was comfortablebto use and versatile, and beat my old well known model into a cocked hat. Definitely good value and Recommended.

Defected material
The attached sanding piece got crooked the moment I wanted to check if it works, which was extremely dangerous.
