i adore this bowl and the stix that came with it. i honestly can't wait to use it again. i used it when i got it, the dip makes it easier to keep the stix with the bowl, and it's gorgeous, i have run it thru a dishwasher and the paint and the colors held up. the size is perfect.

I purchased this bowl as Christmas gift. It’s a nice size, the artwork is beautiful and I like the cutout areas for resting the chopsticks. I’m taking off one star only because the manufacturer needs to package it better. The bowl was not wrapped or padded in the manufacturer’s box and arrived broken. Also there was no padding in the Amazon box. Thankfully I got a refund for the original shipment and was able to get a replacement bowl in time.
