Mutt Muffs - 00-CZQ1OA_TL4 DDR337 Hearing Protection for Dogs, Pink, X-Small

I bought them because I go to music festivals, some the music is really loud and my dog is very frightened of noise loud . The mutt muffs were brilliant , Lilly wore them ,I took her into a music tent and after 10mins I took them off and she was fine but without them she would't go near. Also ear protection is important for dogs has it is with children .

Rubbish - doesn't stay on the dog when he shakes his head, poor build quality and poor materials used. Waste of money. Vastly overpriced.

The principle behind Mutt Muffs is good, but they need a better way of fixing them to the dogs head otherwise the dog manages to get them off too easily, especially when they are already frightened by noise. If they made these with a muzzle-style fasening (likea Halti) then they would probably work better.

I’ve returned these. They were very expensive and yet my dog could still hear very low level noises through them. I wasn’t expecting sound proofing, but I would have hoped they would have helped a little. But he had them on in my living room, doors and windows closed. A dog in the next estate barked which I could barely hear - and he reacted to it, so I can’t see them helping for anything at all really.

Sounded like a good idea with the problems we have with our dog, however they are off in 5 mins of him scratching his ear. And to add insult to injury after sending the product back we still have no conformation of them receiving it and or a refund, the communication response time from this company is not so good either. Save your money don't bother.

We wanted these for our noise-phobic Greyhound on firework night. They wouldn't stay on and don't appear to block the loud bangs.

These are not worth the money. Very disappointed in them as soon as the dog shook its head they fall off. If you pull them too tight the dog looks like it's choking. Wouldn't recommend them not for the price.

very lightweight plasticky item. I wouldn't consider this to be serious hearing protection in any way.

These were purchased to protect the hearing of a service dog while in loud public places, such as the cinema. They reduce loudness if sounds but your dog will still here your voice for task cues. Dog hearing is very sensitive. If we find something loud then your dog hears it even louder. I want to do my best to protect her hearing because she is precious to me and deserves the very best. Ensure a good deal when adjusting them to your dog’s ears. It took me awhile to get the right fit. I keep the ear flap down and seal the muff on top. I won’t have to adjust the top Velcro anymore and use just the chin strap to put them on. Should be quick and simple in public and dark locations. My dog sat patiently while I adjusted them and was fine with them being in her head. Not sure what she was thinking about it all, but hopefully it takes the edge off loud environments I deem to loud for her. They will be tested out at the cinema very soon, and I will provide an update at that time.
