Rycote 044912 InVision Universal Microphone Shock Mount,Black

Not much to say other than this is an excellent shock mount and exactly what you'd expect from Rycote.I use this with a Cascade V57, which has quite a wide diameter body.There are a few variations of shock mounts by Rycote that look similar to this one, which are designed for different diameter bodied microphones. Just make sure you order the correct diameter variant for your microphone/s.

They say “less is more,” and in this case it is. Less money equals more quality. Purchased to replace the original elasticated mount that came as part of the studio kit with my Neumann TLM-103, this mount is more robust, looks great and provides an astonishingly high level of isolation from ground borne noise / vibration. It’s considerably cheaper than the original and definitely better, IMHO.It also pairs very nicely with the, also brilliant, Rycote pop shield.

This just works and is worth the money

This works well and is good quality. Note that these Rycote microphone holders come in different sizes for different microphones and you need to make sure you get the right one - it doesn't help that the product title listings don't make this clear.

I bought this as a have a number of good quality studio microphones so the idea of having one universal shock mount is appealing and saves timeHowever even though this says universal - none of microphone will stay in place even with all the attachment wheels tightened mics slip throughAlso the quality of the construction is poor

Bin auf diese Mikrofon spinne gestoßen weil ich für mein shure mv7x gesucht habe und die anderen mikrofon spinnen mich nicht wirklich überzeugt haben.Die spinne passt definitiv für den shure mv7x und der preis ist auch top ^^ und bisher erfüllt die spinne meine erwartungen :)

This is not the Rycote InVision USM, like the title states. THIS IS THE USM-VB, FOR LARGE-GIRTH MICS.They do say in that in the DESCRIPTION (which I unfortunately missed when I purchased it), but it should be clearer in the title of the product that this is *NOT* just the regular Rycote InVision USM.So, BUYER BEWARE: THIS IS FOR LARGE-DIAMETER MICS, AND WILL NOT FIT MICS *LESS* THAN 55mm IN DIAMETER (which is actually most of them).
