10/10 Recommend + Getting my entire family this toothbrush
I never write reviews but I’m making time for this one!! First off I spent hours researching and watching reviews on “the best electric toothbrush”. And it lead me to this one. It’s not too expensive like the diamond clean being $300+- it’s right in the middle for the price point and looks good, not too outdated and comes with a travel case, also it has all the features I’d really need. This is my first electric toothbrush coming from your regular target brand toothbrush’s ranging from $5-$20. What made me think of getting this over an oral B was the “sonic technology” which seems to be specific to the Phillips Sonicare brand, whereas oral b and others just rotate or whatever. Overall though it’s the best toothbrush I’ve ever owned and I’ll probably never go back to a regular toothbrush. My first concerns were reading other reviews that it broke in a year or 2 because of whatever faulty reason. But honestly if it breaks I’ll probably just get another one again because it’s worth it !! The clean is next level compared to a regular toothbrush and it’s a clean you’ll never experience without one of these toothbrushes. Once you realize what the vibrations mean you don’t need to use the app too, I never use the app and I know I’m gonna get a perfect clean each brush. As sad as it is to say but I look forward to brushing my teeth now every day knowing how clean and perfect my teeth are gonna feel afterwards lol. If you’re worried about the money then these types of toothbrushes aren’t for you. But if you can look past the price it’s 100% worth it.

The best toothbrush
I bought a pink one and a blue one for my son, I recommend it. It is very important to take care of the health of your teeth. It cleans well, the only drawback is the high price.

Metal Rod Fails Quickly on Sonicare Toothbrushes
The metal rod fails quickly on Sonicare toothbrushes. This is my 3rd or 4th Sonicare. I hoped that by upgrading to a more expensive model the issue would be resolved. Unfortunately it is not resolved. I've had my latest Sonicare 9000 for just over 2 months and the rod has failed already and moves around all over the place, making the toothbrush head unstable and unsafe. In addition the motor now makes a really loud noise. Very disappointing. Since this is a known issue I don't understand why Philips haven't updated the design of their toothbrushes. I was able to get a replacement toothbrush under my warranty, but if this defect keeps happening then it doesn't solve the actual problem.

Save 💲💲and create the model you want a la carte
Wonderful toothbrush. Always loved these designs and sonic care are the kings of this technology. I got the purple “Special Edition,” as it had same features as $300 one but nearly half the cost. 💲 Downfall? Slipper as all H)&L! I bought this one because I had dropped my last one and broke the internals. Heartbroken but satisfied with its overall longevity, I went back to the same manufacturer. I’m happy I did. But the coating…THE COATING ON THE HANDLE IS LIKE GRABBING A GREASED UP ICYCLE. It CONSTANTLY wants to slip out of your hand. However- tilt your head back slightly- which you should anyway to not make a mess, and voila - same OUTRAGEOUSLY GOOD clean at HALF the price. *******BE ADVISED***** The brush head that comes with this model is a significant portion of the expense in both this and other models. It is unlike ANY other sonic care brush head, in EVERY way, and I HIGHLY recommend it. HOOOOOWWWWWWEEEEEVVVVVEEERRRR, you could buy the cheapest model (app is silly anyways) pop this more expensive brush head on there (sold separately) and BAM!!💥 You just beat the whooooooole system!!! - 👊🏻 🤚⬇️ 🎤 (mic drop)

Great Customer Care
Reviews suggest using this product feels similar to a professional-level cleaning. I agree. I noticed a significant improvement with this product. However, after 14 months, it began to operate differently (less vigorous) and within days stopped working altogether. I tried the troubleshooting suggestions. None worked. I contacted Sonicare who asked for the Amazon invoice and a photo of the device. They told me I was within warranty and will send a replacement brush and two brush heads (since I threw one away initially thinking it might have been defective). Bummer that it broke after 14 months. (It's a pricey toothbrush). But very happy with the quick/easy offer to replace it.

The product arrived on time and in good condition. As this is my first experience with an electic toothbrush, I don't have anything to compare it to other than an ordinary toothbrush - but I can safely say it's a big upgrade. I can feel the difference immediately. There are multiple settings to choose from (clean, whitening, gum health and deep clean) and, after experimenting, I feel they are all relevant. The charging base is tiny so it has a very small footprint on the counter (ours is not very big). There's also an app (Apple & Android) that helps you track your mouth care regime. Overall, a solid brushing experience!

I’ve been a loyal Philips Sonicare user for nearly two decades, and they’ve consistently improved their products—sleeker handles, better brush head designs, and more attractive charging bases and accessories like travel cases. This new model continues that tradition with notable upgrades and a few minor areas for improvement. What I Like: Quiet Operation: The toothbrush runs smoothly and quietly, adding to the premium experience. Light, Slim Design: The handle is slender and lightweight, with modern gradient colors that enhance its aesthetic appeal. Slender Brush Heads: A key advantage over Oral-B brushes. The slim design allows for better reach into back teeth and more precise cleaning—ideal for those with gum recession and/or sensitive areas. The snap-on heads are easy to attach and resist buildup of old toothpaste around the connection point. Customizable vibration level: The power button lets you select vibration intensity. I've noticed the highest level is much more powerful than my previous Sonicare model. This thoughtful upgrade lets you boost agitation of the toothpaste, create more foam, and makes your toothpaste go further. Stylish Charging Base: The included black chrome charging base integrates seamlessly with premium glass charger cups from older Sonicare models, adding a touch of elegance. What Needs Improvement: Button Cavity Prone to Buildup: I had this issue with my previous model to the point where it impacted button operation and made it difficult to use. While the buttons move freely on a new unit, the gap between the body and buttons remains and can accumulate hardened toothpaste over time, potentially causing them to stick. Sonicare should consider re-engineering the buttons and place them under a rubber membrane to seal them off from water and toothpaste. In an Oral-B brush I reviewed, this issue is addressed. Brush Head Cap Design: The updated cap for premium brush heads is cumbersome compared to the old slide-on design. Attaching it often bends the bristles, which can be frustrating. The older design was quicker and more user-friendly. Overall, this toothbrush still gets top marks from me, with just a few minor items noted for improvement. Philips, get to work!
