I am a professional captain on a private sport fishing vessel. I take my personal gear very seriously. I recently purchased a pair of Tamiami PFG Boat Shoes. I just returned from my first offshore trip while wearing them and am extremely dissatisfied with the grip of the soles on the deck surfaces of the boat. I was constantly slipping all weekend and almost fell off the side of the boat due to lack of traction. I will no longer wear the brand new shoes I just spent almost $100 on because I know it’s only a matter of time before I am seriously injured or worse wearing them.

These shoes are great. I bought them for fishing but have used them to float the river with my family and just out and about. They drain water great. Sand doesn’t flow out the small holes very easily but water exits quickly. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great shoe that breathes well, whether it’s in the water or to wear around your daily life.

I’m rough on shoes I bought these to work in delivering milk. They have great grip are durable and honestly maybe the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever wore. 11/10 when they are on sale again under 60 bucks I’m gonna buy a couple more pairs.
